JISTIC the pick 6 can be fixed really easily.... its the ratings

so when the cpu picks the ball off the Db turns into LT

I'm curious, for those of you saying the running animations are a game-breaker for you, have you played any Madden or NCAA next-gen in the past couple years? I'm assuming not, and here's why: NCAA 09 was my first next-gen football purchase, and upon first playing, I was pretty disgusted with the running animations. I thought for sure they were going to detract from my enjoyment of the overall experience. But in reality, after about 50 games (I played over 500), you really stop paying attention to how weird they are. You just get used to it, and before long you really don't notice it at all.

Ian said since day one that gameplay was going to be the focus. You get used to the animations and they don't detract from the real gameplay. I'm sure they will be modified/redone for Madden 11, since they're far from perfect. But I'm just saying, don't convince yourself they're going to take away the fun for you. Certainly don't pass on the game just because of the running animations, for your own sake.

This is exactly why we never get a complete game we get in compartments like apex said pro tak one year hit stick one year y cant it all just be in all together..cuz after a while people will just acccept anything and give in why would they take out progresive lighting the take out put back add stuff that should have been there but we take cuz its the only think about it.

I think also when they make a pick they just accelerate at a unrealistic rate and with 80-90 speed they only need one step and they're off to the races.

Even if they had the DB's fall more often. The Offensive players seem to need their defensive ratings instantly boost the instant a pick happens. I don't know what happened but I can say with near certainty this started in Madden 2003.

I have been a member of this site for a long time. I really do not post very often, although I felt the need to because of all the sh!t you have to put up with. From sock colors are wrong to Why is my QB cross eyed! Anyway:

* Thanks for the vids of gameplay. I am enjoying the hell out of them and it looks fantastic!
* Only complaint is the D-Line pressure, I would like to see the QB time in pocket decrease for realism.

I think you and your team have done an outstanding job and I seriously cannot wait for this game to come out. This game should be solid enough to keep me going all the way until 2011 is released.

I was wondering if you could use the Chicago Bears (NOT THE ORANGE JERSEYS PLEASE!) on the next video you post, if you post one. Blue/White combo. My dad and I are both rabid fans of this game and would love to see our team in action while we wait for August. If you can't do it, I understand.

Again, thanks for everything you have done, I have never been this excited for a Madden game before and actually look forward to a great experience. Keep up the great work!

Can't believe they took out Progressive Lighting. Makes no sense. Like Apex said: Next year we'll get great running animations. Probaly no Pro-Tak, though.

How come there are so many picks that turn into touchdowns? That needs to be fixed i am sorry. If you want a game that u see on sunday that needs to be fixed.

Then how come the Ravens Fans at 5:19. How come they acting like Titans fans. If i was there i would be jumping up and down and stuff. But those ravens fans seem mad that there player got a pick and returned it for a TD.

Yep...And the defenders shouldn't suddenly all become Anthony Munoz either and block everybody. In real life, INTs look like organized chaos on most returns and pick 6s usually only happen on straight-away situations.

LBZ, You seem to have some pull here with Ian... I have seen your posts and agree with you 100% on almost all you write as far as defensive line play, OLB/ Safetie issues and outside runs, etc... Please have them fix defense! Defense wins championships! Did anyone see Ray Lewis in that video? He is a sideline to sideline guy and he couldn't come close to getting to Chris Johnson on the outside! It seems tough to run up the middle but easy to the outside. Everytime it's a run to the outside it's 1 on 1 with 1 man to beat for a td EVERYTIME it seems! Why does Ray Lewis attack the line consistently when the play is a toss or sweep to the outside? He takes himself right out of the play... Where is his play recognition of 99 or whatever he is?

It's good that you mentioned how easy it is to run to the outside in the videos we saw.
The one thing about the NFL is running to the outside is very tough to accomplish.

Does anyone know if a PS2 version is being released? I'm just curious thxs.

not sure if this has been mentioned but I noticed the refs, some players, and coaches are wearing short-sleeves at it's January. Will this be changed for cold-weather games?
