Yes, I have to say, that controlling Hines Ward in Super Star Mode is a blast and truly captures what it's like to be a super star.

    (sarcasm yet again).

My favorite part of Super Star Mode was when I had to answer the DNA questions about my parents: Dad was a truck driver, Uncle Bob was a janitor, etc.

    Thrilling Times.

Bottom Line: Super Star Mode is implemented into the game to widen the audiences appeal for Madden. It primarily is targeted for a younger (12-19) age bracket. As I said...."kiddy" element injected into the game...via Super Star Mode.

I'm not a kid. Are you?

I'm 31 and don't think the superstar mode has anything to do with being kiddy. Where do you get that idea from? The camera view just need to be changed.

Superstar mode as it is..well..its garbage..Thats why people want it changed..Franchise was garbage at one time too..If it was up to you they'd probably just scrap every mode..but hey..the gameplay would be good(sarcasm two times).

p.s. there is nothing...and i mean nothing...all that manly about playing video games.

Well I can't speak for anyone else, but playing as Mario in all those Mario games prompted me to grow a mustache. Mustaches are manly...

It's because some people don't like Superstar Mode and turned the discussion into a lets scrap it, Superstar Mode isn't manly-type of thing. My opinion is that some people like Superstar Mode and it deserves to stay in the game for them, but it should be improved, others think that it should be scrapped to improve something else in the game, but that would be abandoning the people who enjoy Superstar Mode. In a nutshell, Superstar Mode just needs to be improved, not scrapped.

Superstar mode is boring because you can't control your team .. I understand the point is just to run your player, but they need to make it deeper.

But it probably won't be looked at until Madden '12 ..

When Superstar Mode was first introduced I actually enjoyed it, but even then didn't think it was deep enough and would get boring. And boring it did get.

Seems like every year since then it's not improved what so ever, therefore I grow bored of it quickly.

I'd love to take my guy from NCAA and move him into Madden .. but I never do, because I always end up doing Franchises where I have total control of my team.

They should at least let us pick our plays still ..

I think they need to address franchise mode first. The only way it should get more is if they break it off into its own game.

Franchise mode is without doubt more poplar therefore must get addressed first. I know you don't want to hear that but it is just true.

I do think there is untapped potential with it but it would take serious work, not just a years worth.

A heck of a lot of stuff was fixed for Madden 10, so I'm sure they will be improving a lot of things that they didn't improve this year. If they don't improve Superstar Mode, it's because the community either didn't demand for it to be improved or they wanted it scrapped altogether because they "think" that it will improve another part of the game.

They haven't had Franchise Mode where they want it since next gen started, until that happens Super Star Mode just isn't.

Next gen franchise mode thus far has basically been a waste of time. Last year was the best so far but before that the entire game just sucked. Last year, was better but still just average.

Until they get everything else right, gameplay, presentation, and franchise mode, super star isn't going to get much attention if any at all.

I don't think it will be priority .. they have tons of animation stuff to handle first ..

They may touch it, but not make it any better ..
