there probably just going to change there mind and give everyone the cardinals-steelers demo because of all the complaints of the 1 quarter demo

Gamestop would probably not allow that, but then again what do I know.

Even more weirdness to when we get our exclusive demos...

As I was in GS today i pre-odered madden and reading about this before i went, I asked when we were going to get our codes for the demo. heres the conversation...

Me: So um... When do we get the codes for the demo, i heard like there is a card for those who pre order it in the store

Clerk: Yea, we will send you an email that has the codes in it.

So i guess they are emailing the codes to those who went in-store to pre order it.

I live in Algonquin, IL so in case any of you were wondering

that sounds fine and dandy....but I don't think Gamespot has my email address...i think they just will call me and tell me to come pick up the card thing.

Did they ask you for your email address?

My GS told me they should have the codes in on the 17th...

They better not end up giving everyone full quarters. I paid over $70 for my pre order online just to get the full demo early. I didn't know you can walk in store. I figured my only shot was online.

I can't believe I went ahead and the reserved the game at GS yesterday and forgot to ask about that. Hopefully they do e-mail them to the people that reserved the game, otherwise I'll just have to go up there and get it.

I'm so glad I don't do squat on-line. No cheesers, no demo mess, no pimply faced 14 year olds talking smack. Nothing but a blissful stress free wait til the release date when I can just walk in and buy it no questions asked.





Now if I don't get it on the 14th... You all die!!!

I just pre ordered online to get the demo, if i don't get the demo codes by the end of july I will cancel and just order through amazon.

The pre oder came to 71$ with two day shipping and they charged TAX online. With amazon I have free two day shipping because I'm an amazon prime member and their price is 56$ and they do not charge tax. So I'm paying about 15$ for this demo.

so no demo codes and my order will be canceled.

The official word came out from EA saying that the demo for GS pre-orders will be live the 23rd and the other demo is live 30th. Whether the codes are being released soon, not sure yet. Time to make the rounds of calling GameStop now to see if they got codes in.

Gamestop in Beaumont Texas said they will have the codes sometime tomorrow. And that the demo will be out next week. Now, she did give this juicy tidbit, she said, and I quote "They are basing the amount of codes we get off of the number of preorders we have." Sounds weird, but everyone else is sharing with the class, so I thought I should too.

I would just keep calling your local GameStop everyday until they come in. I am sure the codes will be gone quick.

So this is interesting...I called one of my local GS and this is what they said. He seemed VERY knowledgeable about Madden 2010 since he spewed out info I already knew (which is quite an achievement for any GS employee to do) and he said he was in a conference call this morning (which I know in fact they do since I used to work there in HS) and they mentioned that the codes would be shipped in store tomorrow. If true, then the email process would begin tomorrow as well.

Take that for what it's worth since I don't know how reliable they are but all the facts sound credible since I've been there for the brief few months back in HS.

I just called my gamestop in Mooresville, NC. The guys working there have always been reliable to me. I asked them about the codes and without hesitation they said July 23rd. Take it as what you will. Im still checking in tomorrow though since I work across the street from them.

I just called GS corporate since I ordered my Madden online with a in-store pick up. The gentleman that I spoke with told me that I should see the code via email by the 17th. He said or course there is a chance of a delay, but that I should be getting the code sent to me by tomorrow)) I hope he is right!!
