I just got back from my 2nd job today and really don't have time to go through all these threads to find out info on this. Gamestop called me today and gave me my Code over the phone since they know I work 2 jobs. I tried the code now 3 times and it says it is invalid.

Does anyone have any information on why this is saying this? I see one guy says its because the Demo doesn't come out until the 23rd. If that is correct than why do I have this Code for the game right now?

If anyone has any light to shed on this I would appreciate it.

If your going to reply as if I have read everything about this on this forum today in a ******* kind of way than don't bother.

they just gave out the code early. when the demo is released (thursday i beleive), u can use ur code and then u get the 5 minute demo

Dude pay attention to anything... All you need to do is read like one post on any thread about the demo and it's very clear it's coming out on the 23rd. It might even say it on the cards themselves....

I think GameStop just released the demo key cards early to piss off what little fanbase EA Sports has left. When I tried the code yesterday I was pissed off. I'll just wait until July 23rd to finally use it.

I DID NOT GET THE CARD! Did you not read what I said? I said the Gamestop guy gave me the Code over the phone because he knows I work 2 jobs. Is this really that hard to understand?

IS IT REALLY THAT HARD TO POLITELY ANSWER A GUYS QUESTION? If a question bothers you on the OS Forum than move past it. You took more time writing your post than you needed to.

Just picked mine up in the store as well. If I (we) are to believe what the associate told me, they're not emailing any codes at all. GS employees aren't the most reliable people obviously (she told the guy ahead of me the demo went live today ), but take it for what it's worth. I'm glad I didn't sit back, waiting for an email.

I agree...they are loose as far as checking to see if you pre-ordered. I volunteered to show my ID as verfication, but it doesn't appear she would've asked had I not pulled it out.

Yeah, for things like this I never leave it up to stuff coming from online because all it takes is one bit of carelessness from someone on the other side to screw you up.

But the one thing that I have yet to find out is... do we have to have XBOX Live GOLD to download the demo using the code? Or will it work with Silver as long as you have the code?

It actually doesnt say anything on the card on when to use the code. But damn, cut him some slack..He works 2 jos for crying out loud.

I drove to GameStop to pick up my demo code and the employee handed me a packaged case of five demo (PS3) codes instead. I had thought it was some sort of booklet because of the thickness, but when I opened the package there were five demo codes (PS3) which were all in fact different.
