I just ordered my copy and got my code.

what really surprised me is that you can cancel the pre-order at any time, even if you've played the exclusive demo.

I wrote GameStop an e-mail, asking if it's possible to cancel the pre-order and they said yes, as long as you do it before they're preparing it for shipment, you can.

I am in Canada and pre-ordered the game from EB Games in Whitby, Ontario and they still say they haven't got the demo codes when I phoned them today. I have been asking every now and then since the demo was announced for pre-order cutomers.

haha...two big gameplay areas I will be focusing on tomorrow will be QB play (pocket, pass speed/accuracy), and line play. These are gameplay features that have been talked about a lot by the dev staff. If these areas have improved drastically, I'll be much more excited for Aug 14th.

What is your honest opinion on how you will feel after playing your first full game of Madden 10?

I personally might be more excited to come to the boards and read responses than actually playing the demo! I'm sure there will be some interesting responses involving those who hate it and those who love it.

My take, I think I'll walk away satisfied. The next gen Madden has been able to keep my interest for the short term. The main difference between next gen and last gen Madden was, last gen Madden was able to keep my interest until the next Madden came out. I can only hope we get a game that can do this.

Best believe the Madden demo is going to get trashed. Some are already salivating just thinking about it. I'm going to take it for what it is, A DEMO, and know that it's still not entirely representative of the final version.

The promo is not available in Canada. I've been asking/calling EB and Gamestop's for the past month and they have no clue what I'm talking about. If they were getting codes, they would've gotten them by now. The demo is out tommorrow.

I have one more code left (PS3). I'll gladly give it away to anyone who private messages me with a reasonable response. I'm not going to give it to anyone who doesn't need it or doesn't reasonably ask. You'll also have a better chance if you're a regular around here, because the person I give the code to, I want them to give feedback about the demo on the forum.

When do we put the code in? Do we really have to wait until 9:00pm on Thursday night? Its gonna be a long day tomorrow if thats the case. It will be the worst day of work this week.

itll be up by 9 o clock maybe earlier. i think itll go up earlier, they just say 9 o clock just in case they have some problems or somethin. and it makes them look better if they put something out before the time they say cuz then it makes people happier. If they said at noon, but it went up at one in the afternoon, people would be mad lol

why not? i just went and got another for someone at my store. i walk in and ask for the madden demo code. the guy said sure and hands it to me. no questions asked. didn't show him my receipt, didn't even mention the word "pre-order." if you can get to any gamestop, just ask. seems to be working a lot for people.

I really doubt your code would be screwed up, but I have to ask...why do you even enter the code when you know the demo isn't up?

I pre-ordered online for the 360 version and wanted to see if I could scam a PS3 version from my local Gamestop. I thought this might help me make a decision on which console to purchase for if I end up buying Madden 10.

I printed my online receipt and had it ready when I asked the clerk for a PS3 code. He asked me if I pre-ordered it and I said yes. He went to his computer to ring up my info but I stopped him stating I have the receipt with me. I showed it to him making sure to cover the part where it said "XBOX 360" and pointed to the area where it showed the in-store pick-up address. He said "OK, here you go" and hands me the code.

When I got home I wondered why the demo card was so thick and why is it wrapped in plastic? So I cut open the plastic and there were 5 demo codes in it! Heh. I already gave out the extra codes to people asking for one - gotta help out my fellow OS'ers. And to the 5 poor souls I screwed out of a code in my town - enjoy your coin flip & kickoff practice playing 1 minute quarters! :wink:

The whole point of this is to check your code - if it's wrapped in plastic crack that baby open.
