There are no mixed reviews. There is no disc, I have no clue why someone at your Gamestop told you that, but there's no disc. A few pages ago I posted directly from Gamestop's own website that says demo card with a code or emailed code.

That's it, end of story.

If you had a bad experience at gamestop its not the store its the
employees who they hired and its not on a disc. Who ever keep saying its on a disc is dead wrong will be on a card with the code if it was on a disc then you could play it which phili said the codes will be handed out on the 15th but the demo wont be out. to later in july

I'm not one to preorder games from anywhere, and the only time i bought a game online was actually from GameStop but it still worked. i got it 3 or 4 years ago and it was used too. It actually still works now, It was Splinter Cell Chaos Theory for PS2. I just don't like preordering something and not having a guarantee that I'll actually get it. that includes Amazon, because i have never bought any thing through them.

As stated previously, the demo cards (they are on a card) will be in store this Friday. They are supposed to give them out on Wednesday, the 15th. Demo will hit sometime from the 21st through the 30th of the month. Most likely days would be the 23rd or 30th since they will release the demo on a Thursday so both systems get it same day.

If you gave your email, you will receive the code in an email on the 15th.

If neither happens, you can contact Gamestop's 800 number and give your receipt info, they will email you a code.

Pretty simple, and that's all there is to it.

I don't know... I still think he could be right. Maybe the codes are coming out on the 15th, but the actual demo won't be available for download on XBL/PSN on the 20th/23rd. Regardless, I'm going to swing by my Gamestop on the 15th just to be safe. I would hate to show up on the 23rd and have them be out of the code cards.

I don't think he was disagreeing with me, he was stating the demo will be out on XBL/PSN on the 23rd, and seems he's right. I said I figured that it would be the 23rd or 30th, but the demo codes will be handed out on the 15th.

correct, i definitely agree about the 15th. that's what gamestop told me and they have my email address. i was looking into the 23rd as the date the demo will hit and that looks legit from that email. i haven't checked the madden site out and i'm not signed up for those emails but that looks pretty legit and i hope it is.

according to pastapadre, the steelers vs. cardinals demo will be available to download on the 23rd and the giants vs. cowboys demo will be available to download on the 30th.

i would just go to that store and make sure they guarantee they'll have the code for you to pick up on the 15th. and if they can't, cancel your current pre-order and do it again and give them your email address...but you should be safe with your current receipt.

Just pre-ordered mine...

Glad I read my receipt though...silly chicka spelled Giles with a J (Jiles). Had I not of checked, I would've been pissed when I didn't receive my code.
