EXTREMELY IMPRESSED by the presentation this year and I am usually not a big Madden fan. This is looking awesome from that video. I always felt very strongly for years they needed to boost the presentation significantly in order to keep gamers interest. Ian might be right ,this could be the year. The little details look so realistic.

So they go on about how it looks like a TV broadcast and they don't include a broadcast or press box camera angle option for in game??? Very, very stupid. I'm buying this year, but man this just makes me angry.

There was some bug with that mode. So they are going to try to put it in the patch.

Definitely best video the marketing crew has done yet - kudos to them. This one really does a great job of just driving home what our vision was and how we executed it.

Ian, I have a question for you and would love for you to answer this and give a reason why, and also if this is something you can finally get in the game...

For years the EA tagline has been 'If it's in the game, it's in the game.' Yet, never, in any Madden, has the Shovel Pass been 'in the game.' It's in the NFL, it's in college, yet it's not in Madden. Why? This is such a simple play. You could actually implement two versions... one with the QB under center, dropping back, the RB appears to set up to block, then releases and the QB shovels the ball to him. The other could be in Shot-Gun.

If you need highlights of this play, watch old Denver Broncos games with Elway, Raider games with Gannon, Pats games with Brady, Hawaii games with Brennan... Hawaii, under June Jones, had a few variations of the shovel pass.

If, by some miracle, this play is in '10 then I applaud you for finally seeing this play implemented. If it's not, which is probably the case, can you explain why? And, more importantly, can you please see that this play gets included next year?

I'm not talking about some random thing, it is an actual play that teams use. Some teams use it like others would a draw play. As much as I hate to say it... it was in 2K5... and it should be in Madden/NCAA.

I really like how you nailed the scene with the Giants Dockery fumble recovery coming to the sideline and getting greated by couch Coughlin looks great. But whats up with the big fan on the sideline? It's snowing!
