Hopefully it finally has custom soundtracks like all the other sports games that have made legitimate claims to being best of all time (e.g. Sony MLB Road To the Show, Sega nfl2k5 and even previous versions of EA's own NCAA football).
After all it is ALL about giving the user/buyer choices so that each person can make the game the best experience it can be (for them) and soundtracks are a deal deal that can either totally heighten the experience or almost entirely smother your fun.

Every year the soundtrack is full horrible underground rappers. I am really into Hip-Hop and all but Madden should put in some better music.Comment

Why are you acting like a jerk, I honestly dont even care what music is on Maddens soundtrack. Alright I didnt bother to look up the soundtrack to see if there were any underground rappers. Some people on here need to chill out and realize it was just my opinon.Comment

AMEN!!! The 2k9 soundtrack was 50% instumentals (Most of them bad) and 25% was horrible rap songs (2k pennies was the best and it still sucked). The other 25%... Couldn't even tell what the genre of music the artist was trying to accomplish. LOL
I don't know what 2k was doing. I'm guessing that they just didn't have the money to sign some of the big name and/or good music artists.It's all about the Chargers, the Lakers, and the............*falls asleep*

We had a pretty different approach to music this year. For me personally, it's the best soundtrack, like, EVER, but music is subjective and you guys probably don't have the same taste as me. There are a few songs on there that I personally can't stand, but for the most part, I frickin' love it.
I can give one hint - most of the songs aren't new. A good amount were already big during my high school years (some earlier, some later)...and I'm 29.
