Great video, and I thought he did it in a very constructive manner myself.
From everything I've read and watched (and my god that is everything) I think this year's Madden will be known for:
1. Ian taking the helm and actually heading Madden in the right direction. Presentation and online franchise etc.
2. EA's first attempt at gang tackling (alpha stage of Pro-Tak) Many "scratch your head moments" like the video, and possibly some exploits where pro-tak will be too powerful if you use the RB's with high break tackle ratings. Maybe this year's QB sneak. LOL
3. The over done over the shoulder catches.
To me it appears that the same thing that triggers "suction" blocking happened where a certain animation kicked in that "recruited" the closest player to the tackle to be added to it. It really comes off looking poor in this situation but I'm really glad EA is at least trying. I think it's going to be a lot of situations like this in the first year of putting it out, but on the flip side we would be criticizing them if they still had all the players near the tackle just standing around like in years past.
