First off, they don't "need" a new NFL game every year. They "want" a new NFL game every year. They don't have to buy it and no ones forcing them to do so.

Second, EA has no responsibility to release a quality game. The only responsibility they have is to their shareholders. They just have to sell an "X" amount of units each year and that's exactly what they do. They don't owe you, or any of us anything..period.

So basically, it's like this. Do you or do you not like Madden? If you do, buy it and be happy. If you don't like it, then stay home and play last years game. By buying Madden 10, you have voted in favor of the product and did nothing but hurt your own cause.

I'm tired of seeing people whine and complain about something they support. If you don't buy the game because you're frustrated for whatever reason, then by all means go ahead but if you buy Madden, and this goes for APEX or anyone else who tears it apart yearly, then you're a complete hypocrite and have ZERO credibility imo.

as long as people accept poor quality by means of giving EA 60 dollars every year, EA will still release poor quality cause well the checkbook is pleasing both the employees and shareholders

Speaking in general terms. In some of the vid threads the OP has been insulted about how they "spend their time", "they need to get a girlfriend", "do they have a job ?" etc.

Anyone ever see some of these madden critics ever say "ANYTHING" positive about the game? ..ever? That should tell you what they are about...you can verify this by looking at their POST HISTORY or visiting their YouTube channel lol

I dont have a problem with people being a constructive critics..as long as they see both the good and bad in the game..some of these guys like a few video making enthusiasts and constant whinners have YET to show off one positive video or positive post lol isnt that ironic? So in other words they see absolutely NOTHING good about the game...go figure

am from usa but i move to france when i was six. am not good at writing english but i know most people can under what am saying. if you cant you dont have to be rude just move on.
let me give u a good example.
example 1
you walk in a burger king and you pick up a double cheese burger. the burger taste greate and you love it. after eating the burger are you going to go back to the fast food resturant and tell them how much you love their burger(no u wont), but you will go back to the fast food resturant to pick up burger any time you want.

example 2
u walk into burger king and u pick up a double cheese burger. the burger was made with a solf/fresh nice looking bread(madden graphic), but the beef and and other ingrident are complete garbage(madden gameplay). are you going to walk back into the store or tell a friend that is going to the store to pick up the same burger that the bread is good but the beef is garbage(no u wont). you will tell your friend that the burger is garbade and forget to tell him how nice the bread look or taste.

i want to ask you and other guys that think madden is a good game a question.
the difference between madden 09 and madden 10 is 60 dollars. do you think pro tak and all the gimmick what 60 dollars.

There's so many things wrong with the demo . Sorry but IMO the negative has been outweighing the positive. I love the NFL , just sucks that I don't have the option of choosing a game that best captures the core elements of the game.

The people who are enjoying the demo aren't on here typing negativity. They are playing the demo.

Negativity always seems louder than positive.

All you have to do is look at Steve's review of the game or the impressions thread with all that is going well for Madden 10.

they so WOWed by the eye candy graphics and signature throw styles that they briefly enjoying the game but madden 10 wont last 3 months or past the NFL season. gameplay is what separates GREATNESS from "just another game" and madden 10 surely will now have that GREATNESS title. JUST ANOTHER MADDEN

As far as impressions go there's really no way to gauge them correctly because Madden is the only NFL game on the market. I'd say that the majority of the "praise" comes from either Madden fanboys or the average Joe Shmoe who would love NFL Fever if it was the only option. The amount of intelligent people, who are unbiased and don't have an agenda is..shall we say...pretty small.

Take a look at all the previews/reviews. Every Madden gets glowing previews and hype, then the game comes out and it gets a pretty good score and then...the game blows. This tells me that the reviewers aren't schooled on what makes a football title "good". They throw in the game, play for a few hours on and offline and then write up the review. If you want to know why that formula fails, look no further then our own board. When that demo released, for the entire night everyone except die hard 2K fans was in love with it. Two days later however and it was a completely different story. Reviewers don't take the time to educate themselves in the sport and they certainly don't take the time required to get a good feel for the product. Thus, we're all stuck with no where to turn but ourselves.

Overall, I wouldn't listen to anyone but yourself. Even if you're a fanyboy, it's still going to be a great game "to you" and that's all that matters. If I buy Madden 10, it's because I know I'm going to get enjoyment out of it. I could care less what anyone else thinks.

APF2k8 is still my favorite football game but it sure as heck isn't because it's popular. It's because I like how it plays, nothing more.

I love the NFL , just sucks that I don't have the option of choosing a game that best captures the core elements of the game.

You have an option. Play Madden 05/2k5 with brand new rosters or play APF2K8 online with OS sim players and leagues. Or, if that won't serve you well, how about no game at all? No one's making you buy anything.

This is a community for passionate gamers to learn the latest information, and discuss ways of making Madden better (as Ian is now apart of this forum and asked for our input!)

I dont care who you are, if you dont care about glitches, bugs, etc, why even come on this forum? Simply grab your atari or nintendo and go to work. Leave these next generation games for us next generation gamers. If we wanted nintendo technology we wouldnt have a xbox 360 and ps3 to play on!!!

We all undestand....you guys love Madden, and will defend it till the end of time. Good for you few. Now lets make it fun for the other 80% that have come to realize that the past few years was a waste of $60!!! The video game world isnt only for you fanboys, kids, etc, its also for us adults who want a game that we can enjoy even in our 30's!! Not going to happen until they get there gameplay fixed. And 2k5 wasn't as perfect as everyone thinks.
