coming from a Madden player back when i use to receive the little card from electronic arts of what enhancements were for each year on the sega genesis, so far without a doubt this year has me excited for madden, i have said it for a long time we need presentation and it looks like we are going to get it. will there be a hiccup or two probably...but you actually listened to the gamers here on this website and gave most of us the product we have been waiting for! Ok Ian. I know you say a lot of this is before E3 and I understand that. I know most of us have saw that practice video you showed us with tweaks you made to the pass rush. But in the demo I can get pressure some what with the guyI am controlling. But with other 3 guys up front the AI is controlling seems to not hardly get any pressure on the QB what so ever on the human controlled Defense. I am hoping this is only happening on the demo and not on the final version. If this is still the same thing on the final build. Will you patch it to make the front four get a little more pressure on the AI qb. BTW Ian it seems the AI Oline blocking picks up every blitz I throw at it. Nothing is working. No team in the real NFL picks picks up the blitz completely during a full game. So please look into it to see why the AI is able to completely pick up every blitz I throw at it. But other then that and the Human oline blocking needs a little more tweaking. The game is going to be great. Sidenote. I don't want just enough pressure to force the QB to throw the ball away are throw a INT. I want sacks to. Thats why I would like to see the human pass rush tweaked a little more. If the final build pass rush looks the same.

When you finally get Madden go in there and start getting your hands dirty with the sliders. Thats what their there for.

Boy they sure didn't do us any favors with that footage...most of that is from before E3.

Oh well - at this point you guys have seen most everything in the demo(s)...videos like these probably aren't going to sway you one way or the other.

I deleted the demo a while ago. I never slammed the stick in any direction. I'll try it when the game comes out. Are their any videos, that show actual foot plants and going in the other direction? or this momentum you speak of ?

Reggie Bush plants his right foot and turns upfield at 1:55 of the video. I usually dont pay attention to foot plants but i was just talking about it as the video was playing and noticed it right away.

Nah, when I say foot plant. I'm talking about pushing off and going in a different direction with momentum and believable physcis. What you directed me to is just a turn.

Watch this video and you will see believable foot planting, momentum shift ect... this was done when Ian posted his running animation blog to compare and contrast. You will see what I'm trying to convey. Watch ES at the 1:55 and on mark.

i see what your talking about now. i havent paid attention to wether or not its in madden 10. normally when i run the ball, i dont look at my rb, im looking up field and all around him to see where the tacklers are coming from.

watching that video makes me want to play APF again, just to have something to hold me over for 2 weeks.

What is up with the "Quickies" advertisement popping up constantly during the game in this video? Please tell me that we are not subjected to this every game as it is very distracting.

HOw come when you play the demo, you dont really get that pro tak stuff. Its usually just 1 guy trying to tackle while the rest just bounce off?

Ian if you think the work you guys have put into this years MADDEN and the way you guys turned this game around in 1 year, Your fooling yourself. I cant wait to have this game in my hands and drooling at the mouth at all the stuff thats inside it to look at.. I see from here out only what jaw droppin stuff that awaits us in MADDEN 11...MY MONEY AWAIT YOU BRO..
