Also, how come the Redskins are the only team to get long colored socks? Players all around the league are using these... each team should get them!

I'm not sure why this is an option. Technically this is a uniform violation and the player can be fined. I guess even video games give in to Clinton Portis. This is one of his doings. He is also the reason they went with the leotard look with the red pants and the red-topped socks. That wasn't good enough for him as he went to the solid socks.

The Skins aren't the only team with a solid sock option.

The Jets and Lions also have the option, and the Eagles ugly-*** blue & yellow throwbacks have blue socks with yellow stripes, and no white either.

The Lions and Eagles are legitimate throwbacks... I'm not sure why the Jets got it.

This is more of an equipment error. Here we have 49ers QB Alex Smith who does no use his chin strap, ever.

Just go into practice with the 49ers and replace S. Hill with Alex Smith and see for yourself, or trade him to another team. it doesn't matter. For some reason he can't seem to wear his chis strap, or at least correctly as it is stuffed inside his helmet.

At first something didn't appear to be right but I couldn't put my finger on it. Then later while he was walking up to the line it looked to me like he had a mouth piece in his face mask [like the far side angle kind of looks like] so I had to see what that was after the play... and there it was the chin strap tucked away inside the helmet. Who knows how many if any other players are like this.

Actually, the throw back isn't correct. The helmet is the 60's version without #'s, the jersey is the current alternate jersey (powder blues) and the pants/socks are the 1960's version.

I noticed this too. I thought it was a graphical glitch that just happened during that game only. But looked again, and every time, Smith's chinstrap is in his neck. I just laughed.

The Steelers "1960's black" helmet is the same as their regular helmet. It should have a gray facemask.

I think someone mentioned it already, but the Patriots 90's blue throwbacks are too dark. The helmet looks ok, but the jersey and pant stripes are definitely the wrong shade of blue.

I should have noticed this sooner... the Redskins 1940's throwback pants are too bright of a yellow color. They should be much closer to the gold color of the jersey numbers, assuming these are based on the throwback worn in 1994, anyway. The nameplate is also the wrong color.

Also the 1960's Cardinals jersey has the wrong font, using Denver's just like the Bengals throwback does. And the pants are gray for some reason. It's a light enough gray that when paired with the red jersey it still seems to look ok on the field, but it's wrong. I'm about 99% sure that the Cardinals have never worn gray pants. (of course this is fixed easily enough by just using the 1990's pants instead)

As far as I know, the Cards have only had white and their color red in both the previous and current sets. They had those yellow/tan pants from their 75th anniv throwbacks so they shouldn't have gray pants. Although with NCAA, many teams with "white" undershirts appear gray so I'm not sure if this is a mistake or bad coloring.

They're actually labeled as gray, so it's a mistake not just a coloring issue. I also can't figure out why the Cardinals have a "default red" and a "default red/white" jersey, they look identical on the field to me.

As for the Vikings... the throwbacks look good to me. I wish they had a white version, but what we have looks good. The mask is gray, the logo is right. I don't notice any problems with it. I do wish they'd use better labels on these things. It's the 1968-1979 uniform. Calling it "70's" is lazy. Accurate in this case, but lazy.

EA: Please add the old orange and also the new brown Browns pants. Damn the Cowboys have like 15 different combinations. Give us Browns fans a least 2 different pants to choose.

We have nothing else to root for this year.

Again, after watching the Jags game tonight, they really need to fix the pants stripe on the Jags black pants. They have it as all teal, but it has a significant amount of white on it. So much so that the white is highly visible on the tv broadcast. In fact the white almost drowns out the teal from afar. As the PRIMARY uniform for away games, it must be fixed.

I'm going to take a stab at the 80's throwback Pats. They had a white facemask which was later replaced with red. Their socks were white with stripes like the white pants they wore. Also, the stripes seem to be on the sleeve cuff instead of over the shoulder like LSU or Indy. The gray mask seems to be like the throwback they will wear this year and there is no number outline on this throwback jersey. So, it looks like wrong socks, throwback helmet, 80's throwback jersey.
