    Re: Patch 2: Determining Priority

The CPU running out of bounds is awful, they could have an easy 1st down or wide open field and still run out of bounds..Brutal.

      Franchise stats.

The top 20 sack leaders should not all be 4-3 defensive ends. Fix defensive tackles are also getting unrealistic sack numbers in the double digits. 3-4 OLB need to be racking majority of those sacks, not the defensive lineman.

Teams should not continuously have 43 passing touchdowns and be rushing for 2 touchdowns for the season, this is ridiculous.

Teams like the Ravens and Steelers should not be in last place for sack totals, this ties in with 3-4 OLB lacking double digit sack numbers.

Please give us the ability to edit attributes in franchise mode, I am sick of having to draft DE and trying to convert them to OLB and have their overall drop 30 points.

Drafting logic - The cowboys should not be drafting 250lb defensive ends.

      PLEASE FIX IR.

        Re: Patch 2: Determining Priority

I noticed a bug with a cap penalty. If you resign a player without a bonus, their bonus owed is added to your current season's cap hit. And the following season you have a cap penalty for bonuses you already paid for. Though doesnt seem to happen everytime. Killed my first franchise, going to restart it.

Fix the clock not always stopping on incomplete or out of bounds.

        Where are the pancakes?

3-4 should be a bit more effective with QB pressure. Think a problem in this is finesse moves take too long to animate compared to a rip or bullrush.

Ability to skip chain gang sequence. And quickly skip through the annoying female voice of the extra point half time show.

Extrapoint weekly show really should show video highlights of other games. Its been 5 years since it was first introduced its bought time we see it again.

Lack of info on injuries in game

Broadcast cam for cpu vs cpu and some replays.

          Re: Patch 2: Determining Priority

          - There needs to be a pre-snap pass commit similar to what is in NCAA. There probably also needs to be a run commit, but it should be like the version of run commit that was in the game last year (only moved to pre-snap), rather than NCAA's gimmicky run commit options.

          - The pass rush from the down 4 needs to improve for human controlled teams.

          - Field goals need to be a lot harder to hit, particularly from long distances.

            Re: Patch 2: Determining Priority

Biggest issue for me is the CPU decision-making. This includes...

            - CPU Play Calling: The CPU routinely calls short passes on 3rd and long. The CPU will line up in a 4-3 and all out blitz me when I'm in shotgun with 4 WR. The second one could be due to adaptive AI - I do run the ball a lot - but if that's the case, adaptive AI may have to be toned down if it's causing the CPU to completely ignore the formation or situation at hand.

            - CPU Passing: As I stated in the impressions thread, I picked off Peyton Manning 4 times in one game and Tom Brady 7 times in two games, with my INT slider on 10. In all 3 games I had 0 sacks because the QB would rather wing the ball straight at my defender than take a sack. Also, the CPU is far too content settling for dump off routes, even when they have wideouts mid to deep in 1-on-1 coverage.

            - CPU Rushing: I've noticed on several occassions the CPU RB will ignore an open hole in front of him and just run sideways until he is tackled. This could be due to BC vision some of the time, which is what I attributed it to when I saw Cedric Benson do it. But then I saw Michael Turner do it, and now I'm not so sure. Also, the CPU still runs out of bounds for no reason far too much.

Other issues I would like to see fixed have already been mentioned. Passes to the flats being money, more rushing/less passing in franchise stats, more sideline catches, etc.

                2. Salary cap for online franchise.
                3. Better logic covering pass to the flats.
                4. Better pressure by human DL on all-madden difficulty (the only difficulty mode where I see a pocket)

                  Seperate special teams sliders!!!
Year after year the CPU makes rediculous FGs with their sliders as low as 20 and I always have to put mine up to about 80 to even hit a 40 yarder. Now they're the same thing! Having only played Madden Moments so far the CPU kicking hasn't come into effect yet but this is a must have.

Get rid of the auto QB sneak. I haven't used it in this yet but already know it doesn't work from NCAA 10 and presented visual evidence in that topic.

WHenever you edit a player to a diff position, they never progress. Even if it's from LE to RE, OLB to DE, HB to WR.

There are special teams sliders, and ive already gotten the qb sneak to work 3 times for td's.

                        Re: Patch 2: Determining Priority

                        My top 5 right now:

                        1. CPU QB's almost never taking the sack.

2 (could be #1 in some games) - The CPU doesn't call appropriate defenses to match up with personel. If I'm in a 3 or 4 WR set, there is no reason the CPU should be in a default 4-3.

                        3. The CPU doesn't effectively defend the passes to the flat.

                        4. Pass Rush against the CPU is too weak.

                        5. Statistical issues (assisted tackles not being added correctly, Backup HB's having messed up YPC, etc.)

I think he means distinct sliders for both CPU and user.

-seems too difficult to get sacks in the game. maybe because the cpu gets rid of the ball so easily.

haven't played enough yet to comment on other things. but those 3 were obvious right away.
Just so you know.. the teams score a good amount of rushing TD's..its just that its not "saved to stats" correctly, on field its good but on paper its not, its a bug. ..just incase you didnt know

APeterson ran all over my butt when i played with the bears vs vikes..it seems the top RB's are the only RB's to have good running game for the CPU though but not every game...i dont really have an issue with the cpu running game ..i do have a tad issue with the cpu blocking game though but sliders seem to have fixed my personal taste
