Ya I could've kicked the field goal. But with the way the game was going. He was getting the ball back at half time. So there was 30 seconds left and I needed a TD. On 3rd down my fb was running into the endzone and got destroyed. And they had some talking of the refs and they say no touchdown so its 4th and inches the ball is practically on the white line. NOW I don't care about getting 5 yards everytime. But let me jump over my center. Put the ball out for the white line? anything besides falling right to the ground. Qb sneak is a huge mistake in this game. And is this the year of the screen pass or what?

That's why I wasn't quick to pass judgement because you would be a fool not to go for it if the ball is on the goal line! Yes, that is major bs that he did a nose dive straight to the ground. And yes, the screen pass is alive! I don't think the screen is much more effective than it was last year...I think that so many people are used to playing zone on 09 because man defense was broken and they are still playing a lot of zone in madden 10 and those screens are eating their a** alive. I'm speaking from personal experience because it happened to me 2 or 3 times before I rectified the problem and I was able to stop the screens.

Eli Manning was stuffed on 4 and 1 against the eagles. He did the same animation and was stuffed i like it. it will stop cheesers from going for it every time

I love the new QB sneak. That's basically how they do it in real life. Way better than it was last year.

So In real life they hike the ball and pretty much take a knee??? OK. I must be watching the wrong games in real life. I thought they at least tried to fight for a yard.

qb dive works perfectly, and the animation is great....

And punt coverage is farmed.

The QB shouldn't just fall to the ground without being touched by the defense. He should keep pushing forward until he is tackled.

I have had no problem returning punts. I have only played 2 games and I have already returned a punt for a TD with Norwood.

Wow must be nice. Maybe my guys just don't know how to block for me. The 2 guys on both sides just let the guys run right past.

IDK what you guys are talking about, whenever I do a QB sneak he just runs straight through the lines like the old Maddens.

If the defense is in goal line formation, he will immediately dive forward. If there are only 4 defensive linemen, he will take it and run. For the one when the QB just dives, you can control the direction which the QB dives with your left analog stick. So basically, you just dive where you see a hole. Personally, I have yet to be stuffed.

Well great news. I had the ball 4th and 1 again. With the ball on the white paint of the end zone. Somehow that's not a touchdown. I cal for a....yes wait for it wait for it.... QB SNEAK!!!! and Joe flacco just falls straight to the ground and lays there for 3 seconds and finally is touched by a defender and YES i held right to make him go right. BUT once again just fell to the ground. This fing play is garbage and no where near realistic. Since when is it fun to have no control over what happens?

Exactly. It's no fun to have no control over what happens. Thats why they added this, because otherwise you have no control while your opponent simply runs sneak after sneak for guaranteed yardage. If you don't like how it's implemented, call a FB run or HB run up the middle.

complainers of cheese are just as bad as cheesers. they cry to the devs and the devs handicap games with ridiculous "fixes" like this.
