    Re: ask madden

I usually use Ask Madden on offense, but will choose more plays when I'm playing against another person. I always pick my play on defense to make sure I can sub/ pick the right personnel.

Ask Madden, everytime. I'll then pick one of the three plays available. The only time I'll interfere in Madden playcalling is if he wants a punt where I feel I can make a field goal or if I want to try for a pass play w/ a fade route in a goal-to-go situation. Since I mostly play with the Eagles, it's good to throw a screen or two in during a game and sometimes I'll have to manually playcall those.

i pick my own play depending on the situation 1st play run the ball get the yards, 2nd play 4wr set get the first down if i don't then, 3rd down i formation run the ball and get the first down.

on defense i pick my own plays is well

Question, when using ask madden, the play he (madden) chooses is highlighted or has some kind of automated symbol that tell you that this is the play he would call, but in this years version there are 3 plays sometimes they are highlighted in orange and sometime all white or all orange which one of the plays is he recommending for that situation or is all the plays good to run and you choose the play?

              Re: ask madden

i hate ask madden; it often feels like the play calls are more of a general situational call than team specific. The defensive ones are too risky often times as well, when a basic coverage or blitz call would be appropriate.

He gives you 6 options. PIck one of them.

But when choosing Ask Madden. You fall into the tendency of calling the same plays.

like jfurfaro says, ASK Madden is very general and non-team specific.
