My favorite running back to use in Madden history had to be Jamal Lewis in Madden 2005. He was a beast in every aspect. He ran people over and was untouchable in that game. In my franchise i ran for over 2000 yards in a season with him and had about 20+ touchdowns dude was unstoppable.

Garrison Hearst in Madden 98."Maybe I can't win. But to beat me, he's going to have to kill me. And to kill me, he's gonna have to have the heart to stand in front of me. And to do that, he's got to be willing to die himself. I don't know if he's ready to do that."Comment

Barry Sanders in any year was my favorite, as a Lions fan it was the only good thing we ever had accept maybe Speilman and Porcher in their primes on defense.Go Lions, Tigers, Pistons, Red Wings, Wolverines!Comment

Re: what was your favorite running back to use in the history of madden?
Is this a joke question? Barry Sanders was unstoppable nearly every year, especially in '99 & '00. HB sweeps/screens were vicious. He was incredibly fast, hard to tackle, and he could catch anything.
God, I miss Barry.
Other than him, Robert Smith was really good in '02.Comment

Re: what was your favorite running back to use in the history of madden?
I like this topic. Of course, we know all the obvious backs, but I had a lot of fun using New Orleans in Madden 92 and running with the tandem of Dalton Hilliard and Craig Heyward. Of the two, I prefered Heyward because of he was hard to take down. Man, that game was a lot of fun...Comment

Barry Sanders in Madden 93.
We would have some insane, yet very unrealistic, battles with '93. Barry, Emmitt and Thurman were off the charts. I can recall a duel in the snow between Barry and Emmitt. So fun as a 17 year old playing my brother and laughing at the ridiculous runs we would pull off.
Here's nostalgia for you: Does anyone remember the play "HB Pull" in Madden? Yikes!"Hard work beats talent, when talent isn't working hard.”Comment
