It has nothing to do with buying another system you do have a choice .Don't buy the game play something else.Depending on how you play and your style alot of people enjoy the game and happen to like it.Me i prefer the choice to buyu or not to.I like college football but I don't enjoy the game so guess what I don't own it and I haven't for the past 3 years.Buying only supports the product complaining you are now part of the vocal few that rant and rave not the 1 million + that are fine with the game.

Personally, I own a 360. I don't feel it's a legitimate choice to spend $300 or $400 for one game, no matter how good it is. So, therefore, I am limited by my options and opportunities for a good baseball game.
The only thing I see different is that I have a personal choice to not purchase a PS3.
Now, 3-4 years later they are $300.... Too late.Comment

People really need to research the word monopoly before they use it. This is not a monopoly, it's a legal business practice.
We just need to accept that Madden will be the only game out there for the time being and stop this false hope that somehow some court will rule that it's illegal when it clearly isn't.Comment

This is not the court battle they should be concerned over. American Needle v. New Orleans Saints, et al which the Supreme Court will decide later this year could end up with the same result. The Last of Us is the Citizen Kane of video-games. It is better than every game that has ever come before it, and is the new benchmark for all games to follow. It is nothing short of a work of art.Comment

There may be a slight chance of a case. If EA was just in bed with the NFL, it'd be one thing; however, they have the exclusive rights to NCAA trademarks as well as the NFL. At one time the had the exclusive rights to the AFL. They have or have had exlcusive deals with every major american football league. That's were the issue might be. If other companies could make NCAA football games, if other companies could've made Arena league football games when the league was still up and running, it'd be different. EA is clearly trying to prevent any other company from making a licensed football game.
The courts may say that as a monopoly.Comment

1)Don't buy the game sit and wait till it becomes not profitable for EA and they quit making it.
2) Buy the game and enjoy the positives it does have.
3) Make what changes I need to make to sliders and ratings to fit my style and ability.Comment

People have always misguided their anger. It isn't EA you want to blame, it's the NFL. If people would have gone after them years ago, then we wouldn't have to wait till 2013. You see, when you direct your feelings in the right direction, it will payoff. EA has to laugh at these lawsuits, because their main argument is probably this, (we don't have the NFL rights, but we have the rights to make an NFL game). If we all contacted the NFL right after the signing in 2006, then we would not have gone through all of this. I agree competition is good for business. Just look at the NHL,and NBA franchises. It's just a shame there is all this misguided anger to boot.GO COLTS

Do you really believe that the NFL cares about this come on .They could care less. They don't care about image or anything like that .If they did 20% of the players wouldn't be there.i.e.Michael Vick,Chris Henry,Tank Johnson and so many others. That is what matters not some video game that sells 2 million units. The NFL will get their cut from EA either way.If they are willing to pay the price to be the only game maker then it is their right to make the game the way the mass public wants it and not cater to 10% of the fans but to the 90% who most of this stuff means very little.Believe me I care and it bothers me but I know I have a choice
