Having this issue on 360 as well with patch and afl dlc. Haven't checked the bengals yet.

heres one for you
i created an expansion team replaced the bills... anyway my teams new helmets i made had a black strip down the midle and during play its missing but when the plays over with the close up of the takle the black strip is there...

Yup I can confirm this. Just tested it out. I had Bengals AT Eagles and the Bengals had black blocks on their helmets.

EDIT: I'm on 360.

In versuz2's new video he'll probably talk about how the blocks are a signal that his players are being altered.

I really doubt it.

It's such a stupid random error that shouldn't have anything to do with the stuff the patch was supposed to address.

Heck, you can play a game with the Pats vs the Ravens and not get the blocks. Even if someone was supposed to check the uniforms, it's really easy to have missed it. The quickest way to check all the teams is to just play them against themselves. And, conveniently, if you play the Patriots vs Patriots - the numbers load properly.

I think this shows how sloppy Madden's code base is... but I'm not going to fault them too much for not catching it, as long as they get it fixed in the next patch. For now I can just avoid playing with those specific uniforms.
