People like u are the ******** ones, buying anything EA throws out without no restaint. Madden10 is better than Madden09, but has not surpassed 2k5 in many areas. Prove me wrong, and the blogs and posts show this very fact. The sales prove it too. In your opinion, its great that good, but I play 2K5 and its not surpassing it in presentation, blocking, QB, Line play..the lists go on and on. If Ian wants us to forget 2K5, then he and his team needs to surpass it. People who likes or don't like madden isn't ********, its there opinion, so name calling is never the answer by the way..A brisk Breeze

Go change Tom Brady or Peyton Manning's equipment in the game, save it and play a game with either one. Then tell me its just my opinion when all the player specific commentating is gone.

Replay Challenges.

Madden - The Users selects to challenge a play, the computer selects a aspect of the play to be challenged.

2k - The user selects to challenge a play, then the user selects which aspect of the play to be challenged.

Commentating.

Madden - Repetitive and non player specific once user has modified players.

2k - Very deep, game specific commentating. Players can choose from names in a audible library to assure names of players are commentated properly at all times.

If they get the challenge system ironed out in general then there's no need to pick aspect of the play you want to challenge. A challenge is "get the play right refs" if you challenge a fumble and there's no conclusive evidence of one...but the ball spot is wrong...the refs aren't going to ignore the ball spot and just say oh well.

So yea the challenge system needs to be fixed but I don't need to select one aspect of the play to challenge because that's not exactly how it works. Either the play is reviewable or not, it's not "The Jets choose to challenge the fumble but not the recovery or the spot of the ball."

An example I had in Madden was a fumble recovery on the sideline. I wanted to challenge my WR had possession of the ball prior to the fumble, Madden made me challenge the spot of the ball.

In 2k8 I was given the options to challenge the spot of the ball, if the WR had possession or if a recovering defender stayed in bounds.

I get that in 2k8 two of those options were meaningless to me, but with Madden I would have never challenged had I known what aspect of the play was being viewed. The spot of the ball made no difference to me, it was the fumble I had an issue with.

And in real life if the defense recovered the ball but threw a challenge flag to challenge the recovery or the spot and the refs determined that the receiver never had possession then guess what? It's overturned, even though that's not what the defense wanted to challenge.

Madden's challenge system is broken. Period. It has nothing to do with selecting particular things to challenge. Because when a play is challenged everything is reviewed and the refs just get the play right. Madden doesn't do that.
