I still play M10, stopped playing 08 and 09, before the midway point of the NFL season.

Madden 10, I rate a 9.0.

Developers, I rate a 10.0, in my opinion they had a lot of things to fix and then create a more realistic/sim game. They are close, now lets hope they don't scrap and power ups ala Mario Kart.

Those of you who boycott or buy used; you think you are telling the developers you want a sim game; but instead you make the higher ups think you want an easier game.

M10 was a 5 after years of the game being a 1.

I'm going to reserve judgment at the current time, but unless franchise mode gets a serious overhaul, M11 won't be more than a 6 in my book.

I have lost any faith that the game will play anything like it should. There have been some great posts in these forums about specific issues. Some of those threads have been posted over and over for years and EA still does not appear to have made any fixes based on some of those posts.

If the franchise mode gets some serious attention and the game plays "fair to midland" - like M10 (6/10 in my book) I will play it a good deal. I won't be happy with some things - WR/DB, Pass rush, running animations, feeling of no control, dumb cut-scenes, and just dumb AI on the part of the CPU - but if the franchise is much improved I can likely get 60 bucks worth of play out of it within "multi-user" franchise play.

I enjoyed Madden 10, played three years in franchise mode. First time I finished a single season in franchise mode going back 4-5 years.

It was a fun enough game, I had a good time with it even though it was very arcadish. I can see why football diehards hated it though.

Hopefully locomotion is the truth for '11.

I'm excited for EA's football games first time on the current gen of consoles.

M10: 7/10
M11 Hype: 8, I think the game will be very good.

I remember I read in one of the previews for madden 11 that when the DEV team was presenting Madden 10 last year gamesites were getting "whispers to wait for Madden 11". The reason most people arent excited for madden 11 is because most of the features in the blogs for madden 10 werent really in the game.. The only way I will be blown away this year if all the features they promised from 10 and 11 are in the game!

Reread that post, and tell me if that isn't incredibly sad... the only way you'll be "blown away" is if features that were promised a year ago are in the game.

I'm not saying it's your fault...just the nature of what we're dealing with.
