Won't mean a thing if they don't fix franchise, but it would be cool to hear Sweet Home Alabama at the Jags games and the crowd chanting DREWWWW after he gets a big run/score.

Hearing the DUVAL chant would be epic.

Without a doubt it looks and sounds GREAT, but as far as gameplay wise my bet is they really focus on that next year, add consecutive hit tackles and route based passing for Madden 12, and admit next year they've failed in gameplay like they just admitted they've failed in the sound department. At least thats a start, props to them.

            Gus Johnson +1
            No More Hammond +1
"Hammond Was Great" quote from Anthony Stevenson -2 (almost as bad as his 'how do you fill all that time' quote from the GameFlow video referencing commentary, more on this in a bit)
900 Storylines +1 (not really sure these are 'storylines)
No Mention of Dynamic Commentary -2 (this is what keeps the game from being repetitive)

I'm not sure what drove the team to add 900 storylines. That sounds great, but that's something that should have been added after the dynamic commentary was in place. Maybe there are dynamic commentary based on stats and such, but there was no mention of this in the video.

I'm not sure a QB comparison is what I would quantify as a storyline. A storyline should be something relative to the franchise, and something that develops throughout the course of the season. Now the QB commentary can definitely be 'part' of a storyline, but in and of itself would not be a story, just player specific commentary that hopefully supports an overarching storyline.

Looks like they have a story engine that builds a dynamic story throughout the game. A game should be a chapter in the story, with multiple threads in play, with the weekly recap bringing it all together from across the league with a central focus on how it affects the franchise and their goals for the season. I hope they story engine is not confined to a single game.

Is there a link for how this will sound? I want to give this the thumbs up, but I don't trust a marketing video to do it. I need evidence.

On a side note, but also on a very real note, they need to keep Anthony Stevenson out of the videos. He makes some of the worst quotes I have heard. 'How do you fill all that time?' - It's called banter Anthony, banter. Watch a game of football, or better yet, listen to a broadcast. You might pick up on it. Then in this video - 'Hammond was great!' - Rhiight, that's why he's gone, and Gus is in. Keep Anthony off camera, and let the guys who know the game talk about the game.

This all looks really promising. Great addition in the booth and a focus on audio presentation throughout the game. I'm optimistic, but until I hear "I Want To Bang on the Drum All Day" after the Pack score a TD, I'm not completely sold.

Still hoping they have an excellent weekly highlight show as well as significant franchise upgrades and improvements.

This is the only thing I am worried about when it comes to the music. I hope they have a TON of this stadium music. I really dont even care if it is not authentic to each stadium as long as it is not repetitive. I dont want to hear "crazy train" before every kick of in most stadiums..

The Ravens play "lets get ready to rumble" and I am sure each stadium plays something different.

The songs will definitely add a home-field element to the game along with the chants. Hopefully, playoff games, the crowd is more alive than regular season games.

                      Game Informer says its in.

Madden NFL 11 brings in a new announcer and EA Tiburon sheds light on ways its audio presentation will be more dramatic and realistic.

For those that may know, are they just going to have QB storylines? What about RB storylines or, even better, what about WR storylines? I was just curious if they are calling it QB storylines just for the title or if they are actually only QB storylines.

Yeah I have that same thought about this because what will happen after all the other players retire? Will they even speake of the superbowl winners or how many a player has won in his career or what?.

I have stated a version of my guess on two other threads and hopefully that's not considered trolling.I think the QB storylines tie into rivalry, playoff and of course Super Bowl games but I think those are a given.

I think the new QB storyline focus will be Monday Night Football. The devs talked about how dull it was last year with stat dropping just being random facts and not really tied to the game.MNF is the 1# venue in the NFL to take silly random facts and incorporate them into the game to make them interesting.MNF is the 1# regular season venue in the NFL for QB storylines and QB comparisons. Also,Madden 10 already began highlighting MNF games with the score banner.

You guys have to admit,it makes sense.
