Another idea is to move Panthers WR Armanti Edwards to QB. he played QB in College and was really good(Remember App State beat Michigan a few yrs back?). If you switch him he will be rated like a 63 which isnt horrible. He is fast with good agility so you can use him the same as Dixon, Vick, Jackson, etc...

Re: Build around a average young qb ideas?
Colt Brennan is a beast. I traded for him in my Bills rebuilding franchise to be a backup, he took over for Colt McCoy in the Bears game and finished the season with 19 TD to only 8 INT in 8 weeks of play, guiding my team to an 11-5 finish and a playoff birth. We ran through the playoffs and won the Super Bowl over the Cowboys. He tossed 12 TD passes in the three playoff games, including 5 in the Super Bowl. He progressed from a 59 to a 65 after basically half a season. At 27 though, he's probably only good for another 8-10 year career though, so he won't become a superstar, but he's a good/easy to trade for option.NFL: Green Bay Packers

Re: Build around a average young qb ideas?
I have just created a cupcake team (replacing the Bills) and traded for Tebow in as QB (and got Eric Decker thrown in).
I released all but four of the computer generated players (none of them allowed to have A potential) and am just in the process of signing a team of free agents, none of which are allowed to be over 80 OVR.
I also am allowing myself two trades a season so have one more trade available before the season starts.
Looking forward to see how Tebow pans out.
if you could've, you should've gotten Damyrius Thomas and made him WR1Comment

Re: Build around a average young qb ideas?
haha, I was considering it as he's going to be a beast in rl (when he's fit) but I want to start off with no stars on the team so thought against it.Comment

Re: Build around a average young qb ideas?
i created a team with cupcake, and i dropped every1 but one A potential. Making the A potential seem like my 1st overall draft pick taken in the draft.Comment

Re: Build around a average young qb ideas?
Ahh good thinking. I ended up keeping one A Potential player, a cb who is only rated 64 so it will take a few years to develop him anyway.Comment
