There is a schedule of information that was released yesterday in a blog from now till E3

I know, and like I said in my original post, I know that info will come. But since this a thread to react to the teaser vid, I gave my impressions of the teaser vid. Not trying to rip EA, just saying I'm not going to get hyped up over a teaser vid like I used to, b/c so often the things shown in these teasers aren't implemented correctly in the final Madden build.

I agree, I'm not getting hyped about the teaser either, especially when there is 5 months to go for release, well almost 4 months.

We'll need to see later how it's implemented, but nothing to worry about now.

It's called a teaser for a reason.

things I noticed:

-3d grass
-new presentation camera angles (or maybe improved pre-game) where it shows the blimp/sky view of the stadium, which really adds to presentation
-custom playbooks
-team specific pre-game entrances
-Walter Peyton/NFL legends unlockable possibly?
-looks like weapons could be back, unless that thing beside Ray Rice's profile picture is something else I just don't recognize?
-Looking at the LaDanian Tomlinson picture, it looks like Player Tendencies could be surfacing. That looked like a list of tendencies for his style of play. This could be huge
-surprise onside kicks
-improved player/staff models on the sidelines
-spectator mode for online, or possibly even a screen to show scores from around the league?
-Cheerleaders are finally in

Are we looking at the same images? Thanks to the teaser, the community now has ideas about major features in the game, and you're telling me that Madden didn't show us anything?

They really didn't show you anything regarding improvements on the field. They showed some nice features, that will be great if implemented completely and correctly, but the on-field game-play could still be a cluster-bang for all we know.

It's early, but at this point people aren't trying to hear about features if the game-play, on the field, isn't right.

Why should I have even the smallest amount of optimism regarding this franchise ? Madden 06, 07, 08, 09, 10 & 11 all were sub-par. Now why should my outlook be optimistic when the previous products that EA released weren't up to snuff. At this point EA has to show me, so until they're ready to release a video with enough information to make me think otherwise, I'm going to continue to have, and express, my doubts about M12.

And it's better to pop the balloons out now then in August when everyone has had their hopes for months only to be let down, again.

Don't think you've missed anything. Though my reading of the Ray Rice thing is that it is a fire/snowflake graphic to represent that a player is on a hot/cold streak.

Just as you are overly optimistic, at least half of the Madden community at this point will be pessimistic no matter what the videos show or EA blogs about. This forum is here for people to constructively post their thoughts on Madden. Just because a persons thoughts are honest and not cheering Madden on doesn't mean that their wrong or they shouldn't post them.

A lot of people do feel the way I do; a lot of people are clamoring for the same things that I have been clamoring for.

I'm looking forward to seeing what's in store also, but my opinion regarding Madden isn't going to change until Tiburon and EA change it for me.
