Yes agree 100%. I just actually pre ordered NCAA yesterday and the gamestop guy Said do you want to go ahead and pre order Madden and I said no waiting to see if they have the player lock camera on defense. As soon as I said that he went on a 10 min rant about how much better that would make defense. He also said that at least a half of dozen people who have came into pre order NCAA and have been asked if they want to pre order madden have commented on Madden not having the player lock camera the past two year.

I was shocked considering I didn't think anyone else really wanted this feature until this thread was started.

Cool that a GameStop employee actually knows his sports games. There's one guy at my local store that I can "talk shop" with and we have pretty good discussions about various sports games. The other employees, even though I'm in there all the time, always ask me about pre-ordering various FPS games and whatnot. No, not interested. Look at my purchase history, guys. 99.9% of the games I've bought are sports games. All of my trades are old sports games.

OK, back to the topic.

I hope a developer chimes in about this camera for Madden.

Yea I agree would be nice in a dev would at least peek in here and say whether or not it's in this year.

And at least that way we would know it's on their radar. But would rather them say yes it's finally in Madden just like NCAA.

Anyone play superstar mode or whatever it's called in Madden know if the LB or Safety cam is similar to the NCAA player lock camera? if so shouldn't be hard addition.

The cam for defensive Superstar in general is just a flipped, zoomed out version of the regular offense cam. I've been a CB, DE, LB and S...Sure, the camera focuses on your player (to an extent, no actual zoom in), but there is no "on-field" style lock like NCAA.

Well it sounds like the actual angle is very similar to the player lock camera we are looking for then. If that's the case couldn't be too big of a stretch to add it for just regular play.

I honestly much prefer the NCAA "on-field" camera than the Superstar camera.

I love that player lock cam too! I have wanted that ever since I used it in NCAA.

Maybe at E3 we will be able to get an answer about this. Probably not but maybe because I believe E3 is player vs player. But I could be wrong I have never been to E3 but would be nice to hear if this finally made it in. Maybe Chris knows but awhile back he said no new camera angles I believe.

Hopefully EA can see that this will add a ton to a lot of the users enjoyment of the game.

And I agree someone should politely ask about this and see if they could at least add it in as a patch if it is not already in.
