Based on your avatar I'm assuming you're playing with the Packers? If you're beating up the Bears the crowd is pretty quiet, but they still boo pretty loudly. If the Bears are doing good though, the crowd gets pretty loud and erupts on big plays.Comment

I really like this demo and cant wait for the real deal. Played it on all-pro and very slow speed with threshold at 25 and it finally felt like I just played a football game. Final score GB-3 CHI-0. To bad NCAA 12 didnt play this good.Comment

Let me correct your statement, NBA2k11's presentation was the NBA Hall of Fame. I used to own NFL2k, the presentation was good, but not as good as Madden 12. The ONLY thing better in NFL2k presentation was the halftime/sportscenter weekly show in franchise.
You're entitled to your opinion I just think it's EA hateboy talk.
Anyway, to get back to impressions, I did find that passing is easier in this game than in NCAA 12. I was able to throw 70% with both QB's on All Pro (albeit with a couple of picks in the process). I could never do that in NCAA. However, I still think the O-line/D-line interaction is flawed and needs some serious work; it's not as dynamic as it should be. Also, the QB throwing animations are still too slow in certain situations. This disables the player from truly utilizing step drops and timing on certain routes. It seems like the only routes that are consistently successful are curl routes and slants. This shrinks the game because now it encourages the user to only call plays utilizing those routes.According to my old marketing professor, satisfaction is when product performance meets or exceeds consumer expectation.Comment

One thing I noticed is that gameplans are heavily slanted towards zone, which for the Bears is okay because they are heavily a zone defense team, but I was under the impression the Packers played some of the tightest man to man in the league. So far gameplan for them has not reflected this.Comment

Why is that whenever someone has a dissenting opinion about Madden, it automatically qualifies him as an EA hateboy? In order for me to be an EA hateboy, I would have to actively boycott and protest against all EA products correct? That means I should be in the FIFA, MMA, and NHL forums criticizing those games too, right? You're talking to the same guy who use to live and breath EA Sports products back in the 1990's.

I love that they have different camera angles for intros. Minor thing, but it will keep it from getting stale. Havent felt the "sunday feel" with a football game since last gen, starting to feel it now though!! Day one purchase for me.Comment

Playing right now. I am not a nitpicker any year, but there are a few things that bother me:
1. The controls need to be streamlined. I think everything is just a little to cumbersome for the pre-snap controls. Such as, scrolling through the "quick audibles" instead of using the right stick. (You can actually use the right stick for quick audibles, but you have to press x twice). Also even if you pick the Madden '10 pre-snap controls the slide protection is still not initiated by pressing LT. Annoying.
2. I also HATE how the playcalling menu always defaults back to the top. To where if you are wanting to run "Packer Trips" you have to scroll down after every down. Just annoying.
3. Also you can't skip through the walk-up cutscene while the user is on defense. It goes to your defensive hot route.
4. Also some may like it, but I hate how it defaults to special teams on 4th down. NCAA has it right where you can press Y to get to special teams.
One more thing I may be getting old, but is anyone else having a hard time seeing the play art on the field for passing routes?
Other than those little annoyances I love it.Comment

Re: Madden NFL 12 Demo Available Now, Post Impressions Here (360)
All-Madden once again is about making the computer players super heroes instead of using attributes to represent each player.
Jay Cutler broke 2 tackles, and burned Nick Collins for a 60 yard TD (rushing)
He also lowed his shoulder down field on Clay Matthews and trucked him, and kept running.
The dropped passes in this game for users are still a shame, as well as the 1 second rush blocking system they use when they block until you get the ball then they let go no matter who it is.
J. Finley has about 8 drops a game for me as well.
Breaking tackles, missing blocks, and un-represented player attributes, Madden is terrible. You either beat down All-Pro or watch BS happen on All-Madden.Comment
