Looks good so far, just took FOREVER to download.

Slant plays are no longer "money" plays in my playbook anymore, which i can say is a breath of fresh air. In last years madden i always knew i could get a first with a slant so i never really would sweat about 3 and med-long plays. In the first quarter i threw 5 slant plays and only completed 2, its just good to see safety's and linebackers breaking at the ball better.

anyone who has silver and wants the demo just create another gamer profile and u get 1 month free of gold....theres always a way around Ea's shady tactics

I think the game has a bit of a different feel to it, which is good.

+Less sliding
+Graphics are beautiful
+Run game is good
+Tackling is nice, no suction.
+Seeing some better ball trajectory
+Some nice new animations
+Presentation is very nice
+Crowd is nice too

-Middle of the field is still money in the bank
-outside of the field is on lockdown
-Super LB's still there
-Too many INT's
-Still seeing some morphing
-NO TIME TO MAKE DEFENSIVE ADJUSTMENTS No excuse for this.
-seeing to many of the same tackle animations
-Juke is pretty much worthless

These are just my opinions.

I was getting my head handed to me (on All-Pro) when I first downloaded the demo; then I beat the CPU on All-Pro in a couple of competitive games, decided to put it on All-Madden and just steam-rolled the Bears. Maybe is has something to do with DPP. Maybe once you jump out to a big lead things can get outta hand. I'm going to play some more games on All-Madden to find out.

Finally got a chance to play the FN demo and I think the developers did a solid job of laying a NFL foundation with Madden 12. I couldn't help but feel like this is what at least Madden 10, maybe sooner, should have been, with Madden 12 blowing our socks off by now. However, can't blame the present team for past missteps so I think Madden 12, Online communities and feature rich league manager, will make for a enjoyable NFL football start.

I don't really want to nitpick specific pros and cons because it's just a demo but it definitely feels less like next-gen Madden and more like a NFL football game, imo.

I will try this. But it's not EA's tactics it's Microsofts. I am not interested in paying for online play ever again Mr. Gates.

I had my way with the Bears, beat them 38-0 (all pro, slow speed. 45 threshold). Culter threw 3ints all returned for td's. I don't think the Bears had a gain over 8 yards. Ryan Grant had 127yards on 13 carries (including a 60yard td). I dominated with Mathews, in one instance, I had a sack, where it seemed like I got to Culter in a nanosecond.

Nice demo overall (PS3, didn't notice the jaggies much, it depends on the tv settings imo). I couldn't find anything to nitpick. I know it's an early build, and if you look for flaws you will find them. I'm still not sure if I'll purchase this title. However, having skipped NCAA 12. I feel more comfortable about this games chances. It just had that feel of polish that NCAA lacked. It was more fun overall (this has to be a first for me in terms of MaddenvsNCAA). I felt like I could play defense etc... We'll see how things pan out, there's always something....

Has anyone noticed the lack of pass interference in the demo? I remember years past where if you touched the receiver when the ball was in the air the flags would fly. I basically stood in front of hester and kept him from moving and nothing was called like in NCAA. Going to be disappointed if they changed it.

Okay, if there is one thing that stood out to me it's this. I didn't bother with any pre-snap adjustments either. It's more complicated than it should be.

I played M11 all year, so I know for me personally M12 is up to snuff.

That said, I'm enjoying the demo.

There are some bugs that I hope are smoothed out in the retail:

Some instability moving from cutscene to cutscene

The ball morphing out of the QB's hands when he passes

Other than those obvious things, I liked it.

Oh, and it's nice to see roughing the passer called with frequency if you up the slider. Nice!

I dunno about NCAA because i don't own it but the presnap controls in madden are horrible IMO,having to go r3 then the d pad feels awkward to me.

I plan to do the same, even though I like the PS3 controller better for sports games. There was a difference between PS3 and NCAA versions with the 360 being superior just alone on the demos.

After playing a couple of games I gotta say I love what I have seen up to this point.

Graphics are simply incredible, gameplay is smooth as butta!!!

What a year we have with NCAA 12 and then EA turns out this puppy
