So I was just playing against Tampa and when Freeman came out the field Gus says, "Josh Freeman the 4th year man out of Kansas St......"

Hmm Freeman is only on his 3rd year.

They must have been working on Madden 13 commentary when they did that and said ah forget it we'll just leave it in there for next year lol

I thought it was kind of funny how Brandon Flowers had his named mentioned when he was highlighted as a defensive player but during gameplay he is Number 24.

Just had to smirk at that, doesnt really bother me though since I quickly just listen to music or local sports talk radio when I play sports games.

Same thing happens with Suh they talk about him in the defensive lineup for Detroit but then they call him number 90 in gameplay.

I agree, I think its a roster database file bug. Where the roster database file is not referencing the right audio files for the players. Or the reference is left blank making it just use the number even though the players name is in the audio file database.

I was playing a game with the Raiders last night and one of my players was called by his name and in the next sentence they mentioned him again and used his number.

I agree, I think its a roster database file bug. Where the roster database file is not referencing the right audio files for the players. Or the reference is left blank making it just use the number even though the players name is in the audio file database.

I'm with you guys, I'm hoping that's all it is, and they fix it, I know most won't consider it a dealbreaker, but for me it is, because I usually skip years of buying games, so I like to play offline franchise for at least two years, so the "Name/Number" issue would totally take me out of playing this game at all in the future.

I'm with you guys, I'm hoping that's all it is, and they fix it, I know most won't consider it a dealbreaker, but for me it is, because I usually skip years of buying games, so I like to play offline franchise for at least two years, so the "Name/Number" issue would totally take me out of playing this game at all in the future.

It will just be a major bummer if its in the roster database, then a fix would probably require you to restart any franchise to correct it in the franchise as well, since the franchise just basically ports over whatever active roster you have loaded when you create it.

I did notice on very slow speed gus & chris do keep up with whats actually going on in play. When i first got the game it was a totally wrong comments in every play. So i also think its a bug somewhere , I just really hope it can be patch & fix so we can enjoy the game to the fullest.

ok so i finally heard gus say lagerrte (sp?) Blount.....i was like WTF!!!! he said his whole name .... weird
