I just call things as I see them. I think people need to get over themselves. It's ok to post things you'd like to be improved. It's ok to like the game. Then post that. The sky is not falling. It's like you think we are all negative people. I'm actually a very glass is half full sort of person which is funny. If Jerry Jones drafts Quincy Carter that's a bad move. If Danny Ainge trades for Kevin Garnett hurray!

I personally think some of you guys hear criticism and it's like the sky is falling to you. If someone likes a game and posts something positive it doesn't bother me. If someone says they don't like some of the way linebackers react in this game, it doesn't bother me.

What do you expect people to talk about? It's a forum for madden. I don't know what you expect. Isn't that what a forum is for? For people to express their likes, dislikes, concerns, enjoyment whatever?

It's when this becomes a personal war and a me vs you, I'm better because I'm positive thing or vice versa is when it becomes a problem. It's stupid.

If you like the game there are many threads on this forum where people like it. Post what you like about it. That's fine. Read the impressions thread. Most of it is positive and are people enjoying the game.

See this is where it ALWAYS turns to. No one is saying there arent issues. No one is saying you cant talk about the issues.
The problem is when someone does like it and they are told its because they have low expectations or they are not true gamers or fb fans.
The same people go around and post the same complaints over and over and over, in every thread they can.

The problem isnt those that like the game and can tolerate the issues not wanting negative posts. Its those that have issues being upset some people can look past them and still have fun.

Thread is REAL close to being locked. I am leaving open only because there was some valid conversation in here.

If some of you can't stop bickering like middle school kids, you won't be around much longer.

Disagree. Seems more like those with legit issues get told to not buy the game of stop having such unreasonable expectations. Did you read this thread?

Disagree. I don't see any kind of backlash until somebody says just don't buy the game, stop complaining, stop asking for to much - when most of it is mentioning reasonable, legit issues.

Whether you like the game or hate it, make your case, then drop it. Don't inundate everyone with your constant opinion.

We know you like/don't like the game. We know the issues/good points. We don't need to have the same poster posting the same thing over and over and over again.

Go ahead and delete my last post if you like. I'd rather not have posters calling each the others side out. There shouldn't be sides. Good, bad, and indifferent posts about madden should not be ridiculed.

I dunno. Juries still out. I was excited, decided to cave and buy the season ticket (I get FIFA a few days early, and get to try out NHL 12 anyway). I ended up cancelling my pre-order at Amazon because I just couldn't get into Madden this year. Just feels like the same thing as last year, even with the franchise mode improvements. Hard to explain, just not feeling that spark and excitement like I used to. Not sure if it's this years version, or just me not liking football games anymore.

I have season ticket all this weekend, so I'll probably pick it up tonight and see if I can get enthralled. Might just take a few games to get into it.

I agree with you. I'm just saying the problems arise usually when there is some sort of personal assumption or attack. IF someone posts something saying the game blows and they dont like it. Then the personal attacks start coming. I dont have an issue either way. I just think it's more the personal me vs you war that needs to stop.

I've seen all sides. I've liked a game. Been called a fanboy. I've not liked a game. Been told I'm this and that. It's just stupid.
