Oh yeah, I took the Trade. I also took 3 OLinemen in the Draft.

I also managed to take someone from:

Harvard, Princeton, Yale and Duke...better have good AWR!! LOL.

btw....i know i prolly mentioned this in a previous post but keep Chris Hairston at RT...guy progressed from a 70 to a 76....i didn't wanna go overboard on O-linemen so i just signed Nicks and drafted 2 T's in the later rounds

Haha...still need my LOLB. Couldn't find any in the Draft. The one's I scouted ended up being no good for my System.

I did move McGee to FS, slid Byrd to SS. Byrd didn't drop or gain, he remained an 86. I liked the way he could tackle and hit all last year, as well as play the ball.

McGee slipped to a 79 OVR and lost some speed, so moved him to FS, became an 82 OVR.

So yeah, will need LDE and LOLB...Also will be scouting an MLB now being that Kirk is 30 years old.

Yeah, but if I really want my D to take off, I need "my guy" at MLB...even though I really like Morrison.

I always build through the Draft, bro. No FA's outside of K, P, or FB. I will take FA's rated below 70 OVR to fill spots, though.

as u wish...it's just that my thinkin is since ur not that far from contending in ur franchise, a stud FA or 2 would take u to the next level instead of having to endure growing pains with rookies that could possibly set u back for years to come if they fail....Don't get me wrong...the draft is my first option as well but i was THISSSS close to takin down the Pats.....im hungry to get to the next level.....and i rather go with the proven veteran then take chances on the raw rookie.....just my personal 2 cents...

Oh, no doubt...but if I go the FA route, it's always way too easy for me, so I just stick with the Draft. Plus I like the fact that someone I take can be a bust...and set me back.

Like that LT I took 10th Overall...he's only a 76 OVR. That RT I grabbed in the 2nd Round is an 83 OVR.

I like that aspect of the game.

i only like it when things go my way haha.....of course every draft pick is a crapshoot....so are some FA's who don't live up to their big-money contract...It'd be mighty hard to actually put 3 rookie linemen out there (if thats the route ur going).....but if it came down to a rookie or a fringe FA, i'd def go the rookie route....i love throwing a rookie into the fire and see what he's made of......if u project on ur team contending, o-line is not a place i would do it, especially if ur o-line got battered and bruised last year....one guy, i'm all for it....two, ur playing with fire...three rookie o-lineman, put some extra padding on Fitz before every game

Oh, no doubt...but I plan on running the ball a bit more. Fitzy's threw for over 4,000 last Season. I want about 3200 this year. Jackson missed 3 Games with Injury, but had just over 1,000. I'm looking to get him about 1,200 and Spiller about 600 this year.

I also upped the Slider to make it harder to run during the end of last Season before I simmed.

Gotta build that OLine up...sucks that I can't get Pancakes...and that's what we need to build our OLine in the Offseason (Progression).

tell me about it....my running game had its bright spots then there were times when jackson n spiller couldn't find its way out of a paper bag...very disheartening to stay the least.....much of it has to do with the mediocre o-line cause they're average at best.....i too, had fitz throwing 40-45 passes most games cause the running game cuddnt get on track......i want to give the same offensive line a shot at redemption....Hopefully the addition of Nicks brings light onto an otherwise gray area......all of the O-linemen had 5-9 pancakes last year

Well I'm sorta glad I didn't find an OLB to my liking with the Draft. That way I just focused on getting my guys at OLine. I was decent at running, but after I fixed the Sliders to be a bit more realistic, it was definitely a good challenge.

I finished against the 'Skins having 37 Totes for 107 with Jackson. Much more realistic with the porous OLine we have...

I'm now 2 games into my new Season...lost Freddie to another ankle dislocation this Season as well!! Must be something that's gonna linger with him??

Last year, it was 4 Weeks, this year, 3. Oh well, he'll be back. LeVitre and Wood are both gonna be shipped outta Town. These guys are both incapable of blocking for me...especially on the Pass.

LeVitre's in a Contract year, and won't be back. Wood will be cut as well. They're both too small for my OLine, anyways. You should see them around my 3 new Rooks on the OLine, haha. They look like Pee-Wee Leaguer's out there...
