Hate to be a buzzkill, but most gameplay changes will likely be seen on NCAA, so I don't think there will be anything that significant.

Im thinking it had to do with either the Kinect, or a huge graphics overhaul. The new designer was brought over from The Show, so he knows a things or 2 about lighting.

I don't see this matching the enthusiasm from the tweets. I give the CD guys more credit than that. If it is what you mentioned I don't see that type of reaction from the CD guys.

They would get destroyed heading back to the forums if that was the case, so I can't buy what your stating.

Why would some state about never playing or throwing Madden 12 in the garbage, because of graphics and lighting??? Doesn't make sense.

Tweets sounds promising but I must warn y’all that it doesn’t take much to get the hype train going with some Madden fans. it could be the presentation improvements or it could be something as trivial as unis & yard markers... You never know with some people. That being said I'm eager to see what the big secret is, maybe just maybe I'll be able to play a NFL game again. I wouldn’t bet on the physics engine though.. I would love to be wrong about that but its EA…

True. But the fact that the June 4th blog/reveal is revolving around Gameplay is what makes this so interesting. I'd say it's pretty evident they've been trying to keep some things away from us in their playbook reveals because I don't ever remember seeing screenshots before with rosters that were almost two years old. Until June 4th (and realistically August 28th) it's only right to be skeptical.

Umm.....yeah. Like others have already said, you dont just implement real time physics, or something drastic in a couple of months. More than likely it's gonna be something aesthetic or a new feature. c'mon.

You may be right as far as physics not being it, but maybe its something else that is huge.

It has to be somethig that involves gameplay. Not presentation or if it is presentation something to do with a great halftime show and things of that nature.

We all know that adding personality to a game is huge also, and brings the game to life, but I'm feeling gameplay.

Like BIG FN DEAL said I need to bookmark this thread. I need to revist this thread when June 4th comes.

Keep in mind that this is something that could have been in the works for over a year and is just now being implemented . And I think that the June 4th reveal being revolved around Gameplay means it will have to do with actual on-field playing rather than aesthetics.

Yes but who is to say what they worked on was 2 months of work? We dont know that?

What if they worked on it for over a year or two, but it wasnt ready till now?

June 4th isn't too far away. We will all find out.

I'm liking what I see so far but I just can't fall into the hype again this year...I have falling for the last 6 years now and every year I tell my brothers and friends how great it's going to be and after last year they said they didn't wanna hear it anymore lol...So I'm going to just wait it out and see what happens when I play it because man Madden has broke more hearts than women have since the beginning of time...But I am going to pray that it's the game we football fans have always wanted.

Not be that guy, but how can one drop a Nagasaki? Its a city. If you are going to make a historical reference to dropping "the bomb" it should reference the names of the bombs. Thus its should be "Little Boy" and "Fat Man" respectively.

Sorry but as a history buff I cannot let such an offense go without mention.

As for what this may be, my immediate speculation is physics engine, but that could also be my overactive sense of optimism. Either that or completely re-scripted AI Team logic that takes into account the big picture and will intelligently enter rebuilding (Colts), building(Bills), and Championship or nothing (Denver) modes. The other thing I would say such a reference would warrant is a full port of all franchise features into a 32 team online franchise.

If not than this was a horrendous use of referencing the deaths of hundreds of thousand of people and radiation poisoning of generations more.

I'm as skeptical as anyone but I am falling a bit for it this year.
1: I trust the CD guys and 2, like what was just said.. Something "feels" different.
We'll see...

You better not be teasing us, we're all ready for something HUGE, just having a hard time believing EA will give us something like that when we have been let down so much in the past.
