To me, this really isn't that important. The score bug you see throughout the game, every game. You will only see Tebowing in the small instance that you are playing with (or against) the Jets and score (or be scored on) with Tebow in the few plays he is on the field.

Authenticity is great and all but I'm sure this ranks real low on the priority list.

Again, Tebow is NOT a starter, you won't see this often.

I'm all for authenticity. Trust that. But this forum was on fire yesterday and for what? Most of the people who initially commented on the Tebow video didn't even realize the "inaccuracy" until someone else pointed it out. Suddenly, it became priority issue #1.

And after that firestorm, as Roadman has confirmed, Tebow does indeed have the "flex" TD celebration as well.

Just adding to that, for all we know the video could be from a very old build or the most recent build. They just wanted to show that Tebowing is in the game and wanted people to focus on that. Instead, we get (running animation breakdown, flex td celebration being more authentic, crowd not being right volume, the way he is carrying the ball, the way he stops after he runs, the way it cuts from Tebowing to the teammates coming over being a glitch, etc....)

Hopefully the next video that comes out we can focus on specifically what EA is trying to show us. Then when they release a full gameplay video(E3) we can maybe get into "Overreaction Sports" mode.

Nothing wrong with seeing something wrong and hoping it can be corrected before release. You went about it the right way IMO and hopefully they can do something with it.

Well we've seen what happened with the scoreboard thread in which EA changed the scoreboard due to our input. Can someone from EA chime in to answer whether it's possible to have Tebow do his "Tebowing" on the sideline rather than after scoring a TD in the endzone? Also, is it possible to animate him doing his "Get pumped fist clencher" for his TD celebration.

I know EA touts the authenticity line but sometimes we don't see it in the videos and in this case it holds true as of now. This would be a big step if they could change this for the retail release of Madden 13.

You have to pick and choose your battles and I refuse to let this one go! LOL

It seems that even with this clear and spelled out OP, some people still don't get the point. If EA is going to tout Tebowing, as an example of their commitment to NFL authenticity in Madden, then Tebowing should be represented accurately. Point blank, period, no screams, yells, death threats or other such craziness, this is just common sense.

They have his arm flex, good to hear, the more authentic TD celebrations the better but Tebowing is not one of them. It's like when EA touted adding the authentic NFL opening weekend fly over a few years back, imagine if they had that happen every game, preseason, regular season and playoffs. Is that a big deal, no but it sure as heck ain't authentic and neither is Tebow praying as a TD celebration.

That said, given the money and NFL access EA has, they will or have likely contracted Tebow to start Tebowing after every TD this year and I will be proved wrong. LOL

Someone should send a tweet to Tim Tebow to just ask him to kneel in the end zone after he scores. Then it will be accurate
