It's crazy seeing the way some of the people in this thread overreact. I understand being upset about it, I do - but jeez. Some are going way overboard and are acting as if Josh Looman is camped out in their closet telling THEM what not to wear.

The NCAA imports and UDFA's last year were the only place I saw any issues as far as rookies equipment. Any players I drafted or other teams drafted looked fine.

Yep. The only thing I've seen with the generated classes that's annoyed me is RBs/WRs wearing no gloves, but that's not a HUGE annoyance since there are some odd players here and there who don't, but just personal preference.

Wait, has this been confirmed that it is impossible to edit players and change ratings for offline use? I mean could it be just for online only?

that is very frustrating news indeed. hopefully like you said Steve they can get this in a patch. i would rather not wait till 14 to have that back in.

Look at how many people are upset by this.

The problem is, take the number of people on this forum who are upset by it and let's assume everyone who voted on that CC most disappointment poll was at least somewhat upset by this and divide that 351 by even just the first week sales of Madden 12... 351/1,400,000... 0.03%

If you guys really want to make your voices heard, you're going to need to do a lot more than complain (and promptly get blocked) on Twitter. It's going to take letting other Madden players who DON'T frequent sites like this or aren't chomping at the bit for any E3 info about the game know about what's been left out. If it's really as big of an issue to the community outside of this über-serious demographic then the cause to get editing in will gain momentum. But really, gotta be more creative and professional about it than whiney Twitter posts (yes, I realize I'm generalizing and am sure some people have made mild-mannered and respectful comments but I'm afraid at this point even those get lost in the shuffle due to the "hate tweets" they are surely getting)

First thing I do when I buy this game every year is try to make players as accurate to real life as possible (fix the things that people get paid to do but don't do). Everything from the players' ratings, equipment, and positions. If my changes can’t be used for the entire game that a paid $60 for, I don’t need this game. If EASports has to limit customization of the game then they need to also limit the price of the game. In a time where technology is steadily increasing, EASports continues go in reverse.

In CCM mode, is there some kind of award system? Like unlockables?
I can see locking the editing, so you can not achieve items you did not
earn legitimately. Maybe they do not want you to make it easy to
get XP points...

What's funny is how forgiving we've really become and accepting of our lowered expectations.

Right now our biggest gripe is that we don't have the option or ability to spend all of the time we normally do to fix all of the ratings, equipment, and other roster mistakes in the game, rather than worrying that those issues exist at all.

why do we get charged $60 for games that remove features that were in before? Paying more for less, yea that's what i'm looking to do EA. Maybe next year they can take out the PLAY NOW feature and just force everyone to play their new Game Mode.
