No, you should see some of the Tweets these guys sent. Because that's the best way to get heard, be rude, disrespectful and down right terrible. It's childish and if it comes my way on twitter, I'm very liberal with my block button, here and on twitter.

Re: Madden NFL 13 Roster Editing Issue Rears Its Ugly Head
No matter what, though, the fact that they are still ironing out a few things before release means that they have no idea if the majority is going to like all of this new, only way to play the game. So...the actual game will be the first beta test...we are the Guinea Pigs.I'm still playing NCAA 14 and Madden 25...and you know, it's alright.

Re: Madden NFL 13 Roster Editing Issue Rears Its Ugly Head
My take on this is that it showes really poor planning and vision to initiate any design that would have the ability to limit and cripple existing gameplay features that they had added at the request of their customers.
If you're going to design XP and future wrinkles like it you need to design it properly and not take the title backwards by essentially crippling your ability to design to the needs of your customer.Comment

Re: Madden NFL 13 Roster Editing Issue Rears Its Ugly Head
It finally dawned on me how to clearly articulate why some gamers like me aren't as taken aback by being forced to try CCM "as is" initially. EA/Tiburon has been doing this with online play this ENTIRE console generation. I commented about QB Vision in another thread and someone strictly offline was saying how it was optional but not for online the first year. The majority, if not all, the options offline gamers are currently understandably disappointed about not being in CCM and MORE, have been repeatedly left out for online play. No slider sets, no player salaries, no CPU trade logic, one year we had to pay for All-Madden online ranked games, forced QB vision, blah, blah, blah.
I am reading these post where people are stating they can't believe EA/Tiburon would do something like this, when EA/Tiburon have been "doing something like this" to online gamers the entire time. I can't tell you of the number of posts, which I might should search for, when someone predominately an offline gamer would state "I don't care about online or online franchise, just improve offline" or "online franchise is the minority" in reply to threads and posts about equating or combining online/offline Franchise. Also with some offline gamers saying a flippant, "just don't play online then", year after year.
I don't mean to be a first class arsehole and I honestly do hope these options are added back but this seems like chickens coming home to roost. Maybe now that more Madden gamers get a chance to experience having frustrating limitations placed on how they have attempted to enjoy the game, we all can come together as a community to push for changes that benefit us all.Comment

Exactly.....I think if the online people that sniveled about custom Playbooks could've figured out that all you need is an option in online franchise and a custome playbook lobby for playing randoms we could all have a great feature like custome playbooks that could be policed effectively in their little glitch fest world and enjoyed by the offline community as well.

Re: Madden NFL 13 Roster Editing Issue Rears Its Ugly Head
I just gave you an example where complaining on this forum and with a video game worked and you still say complaining doesnt work. LOL.
Actually I know why they removed it. They removed those features because they prioritized other features. They were creating CCM and did not feel editing, 32 team franchise and NCAA imports were important enough to feature them in the mode. They felt Twitter feeds, Trey Wingo and the XP system were more important and easier to implement.
Im really having problem following your logic. Again the people who are praising CCM havent actually played CCM. They are praising what Looman and others have said about the mode. Now if in a few weeks we see videos and it confirms that improved AI logic and all of the things Looman says will work....those people will be justified in praising the mode. Why? Because they have proof that the mode works.
The complainers are justified NOW. They know the mode doesnt have features they want. They know that those features wont be added to 13 (only editing is still up in the air). They know that even if the mode is great, they wont be able to play the game the way they wanted to and have in the past. They have every right to complain and let EA know that they want those features back.AKA DEEJAY8595Comment

i really just want to know what adding a visor or changing gloves or cleats breaks in the game. if it really messes up the whole mode that doesnt give me a lot of hope for the future that this team is very competent.Comment

Re: Madden NFL 13 Roster Editing Issue Rears Its Ugly Head
Just reading through this thread it seams as if about 70% or more want these features and are upset. Then there about 20% who don't really care about editing options, etc but agree it stinks for people that want them and wouldn't mind the options returning. Then we have about 10% who would accept Madden anyway it came and every single version would be awesome. The only part bad about these people is that on top of that they actually feel it a must to defend the loss of features, etc like their games rep is on the line and it's up to them to save it.Comment

Re: Madden NFL 13 Roster Editing Issue Rears Its Ugly Head
Okay.. so I have to play with Calvin Johnson Jr on my team? That's crazy I cannot edit that in cc. He isn't listed as Calvin Johnson Jr. anywhere except madden. He has never been referred to as Calvin Johnson Jr. in one game in his career. This is just stupid. He is the COVER ATHELETE!
Anyone know if you can retire as the coach, select a player to use on your team, edit him and then retire and go back to being the coach?Comment

I second the above. What kind of new, awesome, so much better computer coding can't handle being tweaked with ease....because that's supposed to be only what makes any coding new, awesome so much better...correct? We're supposed to be getting smarter and creating better technology, not vice versa.I'm still playing NCAA 14 and Madden 25...and you know, it's alright.

Re: Madden NFL 13 Roster Editing Issue Rears Its Ugly Head
IIRC (and somebody please correct me if I'm wrong here) we're not able to import draft classes from NCAA into this game. So this means I'll be drafting a bunch a no-name guys for years to come in my CC right? And if we can't edit rosters, I won't be able to change these rookies in any way to resemble their true to life draft classes? AND since I can no longer edit equipment/ratings (I hope you see where I'm going with this) when I draft Kenjon Barner, or whatever name EA gives the Oregon RB I draft, what happens if he comes out as a 5'11'' 195lb power back with a 78 speed? I'm just stuck with a small RB who isn't fast.
For people who edit equipment, you'll often notice rookies who come in with unreal equipment. I can't count the times I've drafted a RB or skilled guy who has a Schutt helmet with a Revolution Lineman facemask and shoulder pads shaped so awkward that my rookies look like super saiyans. Has the rookie equipment issue been addressed, or should I prepare myself to draft more super saiyans?Comment
