I think people are going to find out very quickly when they cannot edit anything at all. Its all well and good when we discuss something we dont have right now, but when we want to change a number etc its going to annoy me.

Im on the fence right now but since i used alot of the editing stuff i just feel like im going to get bored quickly.

at 58% buying the game I think being a CEO is not likely in your future. You could send a resume to EA, you never know.....lol

First, the actual percentage you listed is no doubt buying. You left out 20% that said possibly after seeing those (who will have positive things IMO) who buy it respond, so that pushes it to ~80%

80% on a board that is heavily relied on by editing features is AMAZING numbers IMO.

I was expecting a blowout for not buying. If 80% of us hardcore gamers are interested in buying, do you honestly think the number is gonna be lower in actual sales when majoirty of the players will be upset by the lack of feature but just overlook it and still buy the game?

First week sales will top last year's record numbers, book it.

you mocked them for theirs though... so who has the problem? It's obvious the numbers are different than you would want.. but the additions to the game are just too substantial to ignore despite the issues.

OS (or any "hardcore" sports site for that matter) in the grand scheme is minute to the vast amounts of people who play Madden.
The way I look at it is if I was still BOS (before OS) I'd see a new Madden and be pumped. I'd get it and game away and deal with what the game delivered. Just like the days before the NFL license, before I could edit, before draft classes etc...
IMO seeing OS have these high percentage of buys bodes well for EA.

And frankly sometimes I wish I was still that kid who only knew a new Madden was on the horizon.

I'm going to wait until the reviews from the community are out. If gameplay is improved and the CC isn't as bad as it seems, then I will get it.

I will buy it like I do every year..Hopefully the CPU AI is solid in transactions, play calling, and difficulty. If not, I will just go back and play 12 -- I am sure someone will make roster updates

Only 59% stepping up to the plate to purchase. I think the poll so far is showing some pretty serious discontent with the direction of this years title.

Not really, how many people say no buy and do it anyways, also how many people stop to vote on something unless they are displeased? Not many.... Just like a comment card at a trucks stop diner.

still buying it. with all the bad news i just cant ignore the fact that we have a RTP engine finally. plus i'm excited to see how CCM mode plays out.
