Try out CC and play now games.

I'll be in an OS online league, too and really looking forward to that.

This is exactly what I'll do. I want to try out CC, get to know the mode a bit. I'll play some Play Now games to get used to the gameplay. Then, I'm in a online league, too, so I'll be in that.
As for what I'll do in connected careers first, I have no idea. So many options!

Start up my own CC as a coach and get the feel for the mode. Then I'll mess with sliders, and then after a couple of weeks I have been elected commish of my online league so i'll start that up.

Open the package and remove the disc. Then I will turn on the Xbox, and proceed to put the disc in the Xbox. And after that, I am not sure. But I can assure you, that this is what I will do first.

On a serious note, I'll be starting a 49ers vs Raiders game at Candlestick. Get a feel for the game, get some decent sliders and start my CC.

Same thing I do every year.

Go right to Practice Mode. Take the Giants and pick a team with a strong D to practice against.

Set my plays and the CPU's plays to random, and just play for a while. Try to get a feel of the game and how it plays, see what legacy issues are still there (usually all of them), see what you can and can't do, and just see if it's even worth playing.

Never got past Practice Mode for Madden 12 (played a half of a Play Now game just to see the presentation, or lack thereof). Have higher hopes for 13 (if I get it, which I probably will) but we'll just have to wait and see.

i just wanted to give those madden players a shot to talk up the game that is not as nerdy as me and others about edits

I am going to bless it with some Holy water first, maybe even baptize it in the tub..and hope for the best

Play a few exhibition games, then play random ranked online games. Then joint/start a few online CC's. One as myself as a WR, then on as a Legend, which would be Prime Time on Dallas, then one as a coach with the Dallas Cowboys. All with-in the first week of having the game.

...gonna hack it to figure out the new code and then use that code to create the most "complex" weapons programming ever, so that when used in military strikes, no one like MacGruber can "edit" my code and save the day.

Scratch that - I'm taking it to Tony Stark so he can fix the game for me the way I like it.


Okay...seriously...IF I get the game...I will test Play Now to see how well it treats inuries, penalties and all that jazz. IF that comes along well enough, I would consider doing the good old times of back in the John Elway's Quarterback / Ten Yard Fight days where I made a spreadsheet for my season, a bracket for my post season and just wrote down all stats. I actually still have a lot of that stuff, too.

When I get the game, Im looking forward to jumping right into CCM to test it out.
