I opened a new thread because i was shocked at the news and i didn´t see this one.

I can´t believe i can´t play coop with a friend in franchise. I can´t believe it. We are in 2012! after almost 7 years into this console generation and they take this feature out?

Just received confirmation that there is no ability to play co-op franchise offline or online.

If you're reading this Madden developers, please can you patch co-op franchise into the game as it's a deal breaker for me.

Yeah I was raging. That was literally the main issue I even thought about not buying Madden NFL 13. I might not buy it now, and that reason still lingers on.

Since you mentioned it, is online team play going to be on Madden '13? I've lightly looked, but haven't found a conclusive answer. Also, what about the 'Communities'?

Under the game details (which doesn't mean its correct) it says they have online co-op. I assume (which could be a bad thing) that it is referring to OTP since CCM doesn't have co-op

The fact that EA wouldn't include the ability to have a friend play alongside you in an offline CCM is mind boggling and inherently idiotic. Is it that hard of a feature to include?

I hope there is some way they can patch it into the game.

I don´t see this happening until next year. This same thing happened with the first madden/ncaa on this generation. I remember when my friend and i switch controllers over (i played offense, he played defense) on that time. That sucks.

Hopefully i´m mistaken.

Co-op is available for "Play Now" one-off matches, but not Franchise - how barmy is that?

Like some on here, I only play co-op franchise, immersing myself in a season and enjoying the playoff ride with friends. One-off meaningless matches just don't have the same appeal so unfortunately I'm not going to buy this.

I'm really struggling to understand why they'd remove it? It's hardly a gameplay feature as such and it's available in "Play Now", so why remove it from Franchise?

I guess it won't be too much of an issue for folks who don't have siblings, or would rather play on their own.

But my brother and I have been playing together for years. This now means we would have to buy two copies of the game and I would have to go play on a separate Xbox. I could understand not allowing you to play with someone on an online CCM, but offline it should be available. Especially since I cannot possibly see how it could be difficult to put into the game.

Extremely frustrating.

Yup, my brother and I have been doing this FOREVER!! We just started a CC hoping to play together, only to be disappointed. Now, instead of playing some Co-Op Madden and progressing through my season, I'm running around OS trying to figure out why I can't.

I was about to let the "no fantasy draft" thing slide, but this is horribly disappointing.

I have te ea ticket and just downloaded the game and still I'm in disbelief over no offline co op in franchise mode. I will not be buying madden this year unless a patch is put out

I too have been playing a season with my brother for 9 yrs nearly!! This is a major deal breaker!!!

What blows me away is how popular the EASHL for NHL series is, yet madden can't even let two people play on one team. In the NHL CC mode you can have 6 v 6 every player controlled by a user. Why can't madden let us be players on the same team? Limit it to 3 per team or something like that if they need to limit it for connection purposes but at least include it.

I am holding out hope they can patch it in since it is already on play now. Offline only would be fine. Otherwise, not wasting my time or money.
