If I wake up tomorrow and there's a demo, I'll be happy to come on here and eat share deep-fried crow with anyone else who doubted him.

That said, I'm more interested to see if we ever see the OP again when/if he's wrong. Or will he just hide behind his Internet anonymity like you say the rest of us will?

I agree but it's likely he will be banned if it doesn't come out and also its been noted that tomorrow could possibly mean thursday since the Customer service is in Ireland and tomorrow to them is thursday but either way and to the mod yea thats cool I understand the rules but there are several rules that are broken like that with people not answering the question especially in the NCAA forums in which I haven't seen any action taken against them but anyways I hope the demo comes out tomorrow and "The Typical HYPE machine" as its referred to as didn't hype the NCAA demo until it was already out I got the e-mail about that demo after I already downloaded it, maybe due to it launching during E3 maybe not but still they don't always do it.

I just hate to see the OP banned for what seemed to be a misunderstanding. It seemed he didn't want to put "the source" out there for concern it might get silenced and that's why he said to PM him. He could have worded everything differently in hindsight but I guess in his zeal to share, he did it the way he did.

I understand the TOS but there seems to be the law and the spirit of the law and his intent didn't seem malicious or to mislead posters, imo.

For Madden they certainly do start the hype machine....I just checked my old emails and for 11 and 12 I got an email the day before the demo announcing it was coming out.. Both demos came out on a Tuesday

It would be nicer, if the full game was released a lot sooner. I hate that the release is so near the start of school. Doesn't give me enough time to play.

Idk if the op is right or not but i hope so. Also to everyone saying ea is gonna hype their demo befOre they release are you the same guys saying cc is brand new and they are doing things differently? Maybe they arent hyping it bc they are a bit nervous since the nba live fiasco. If i recall they tried to implement physics in that game and they are still paying for it

No one has given any threats. If this is false, it's against the TOS and it is simple as that. Users that understand that and have seen it here every year have mentioned it and a site Admin reminded him of it.

Claiming to have an inside source and starting a thread like this is a bannable offense. It's not a threat, it's the rule.


If it comes out great, but according to Casey, who I trust much more than an EA FIFA customer service rep in Ireland, it is doubtful.

I can't remember a year in which we haven't known the demo's release date before it happened.

Also funny since no one said CRM would be banned not saying I think he should because I don't just proving this man is singled out a direct quote from CRM "you are wrong... I don't know when it is... But I know when it isn't and that is not it."
If it comes out tomorrow that would mean that is hearsay again not saying I want CRM banned I don't just saying he claims he knows it isn't coming tomorrow. Again not calling CRM out, not saying he should be banned, just saying it seemed quick to him being banned for this, for passing EA customer service knowledge in which they stated it would come out tomorrow.

Again I hope the demo is out tomorrow just to play it

I agree with this. If his intent was good, but he himself got misleading information from a trusted source, I hope the mods take that into consideration. If the demo does not come out there will be a lot of unhappy people.

Dude I got some info and shared it it's not life or death for me if I get banned or not is not going to affect whether or not my kids have food in their mouths tomorrow. I don't even post on here (this one time) like that but this is the LAST time I share ANYTHING on here. People didn't know when the demo came out so I filled them in..Now all the Ban talk over a hook up...If that's what I'm getting threatened with for sharing my info.....even WHEN the demo comes out tomorrow I WILL no longer share!!!

Not really sure why people are still talking about anyone being banned if it doesn't come out because that is what a FIFA rep will tell you, lol. Doesn't mean it's right but the Op didn't make this ish up. lol

Call for yourselves and find out, 650-628-4322, option 5 will be FIFA and ask the brit that answers when is the Madden 13 demo coming out.

I too don't think that he should be banned, considering that many people verified what he said. This could very well be a "surprise" release, as from my understanding, no one from EA has denied that this is true. It still will be fun to see what happens tomorrow if the whole thing flops.

The mods seem to be letting this one play out, as he could have easily been banned based on one mod's understanding of the TOS. What is keeping this alive, IMO, is the many people that say he is telling the truth when they call EA Customer service. Because of this, I personally think he should keep his membership regardless of what happens tomorrow. However, I don't make the decisions here.
