yes but for the last 2 years they have been doing the same thing for NCAA. They didn't this year for it.

I know madden isnt ncaa but ea is ea believe that. They didnt announce the ncaa demo a week or 2 or 3 days before release, they announced it the day it was released. What makes you think madden would be any different?

There are rules to ban people for needed reasons, but for him to share this info does not qualify as ban material.

If it does come out, then awesome, thanks OP. If not, oh well, his SOURCE was wrong, but the OP never once claimed it is 100% coming out.

Do not understand why in the world you would ban someone for that, we have seen much much worse.

It's in the TOS that Kehlis just posted a few pages back. One of the mods hardest jobs is keep things consistent. If they banned someone for doing the same thing last year, etc.......

Couldn't that be due to the fact that EA claims they don't know when Microsoft or Sony actually approve the demos for release or something like that? Maybe they didn't tell people about NCAA 13 until the day of because they didn't know until then, lol.

Madden has the Infinity Engine, NCAA doesn't, so, in other respects there are differences.

The demo will come out when it comes out, whether they announce it the day of or a few days before hand.

It doesn't bother me one way or the other when or how the demo is released. Sooner rather than later, than I can spend more time on the demo vs posting in the forum.

Madden is their bread and butter, their flagship... They will be hyping the crap out of it...

Just like police work man, it is not black and white. There are many, and I mean many grey areas. Each ban, "case", should be handled in its own way. I think this is one of the times that the post should not qualify as a ban or non ban (black or white). Just my opinion.

But posting info you got from EA about a game in their company is considered starting a rumor or he say she say ? he gave a source, its been confirmed by several people. He wasnt lying. If it doesn't drop thats not on him he simply told us what a EA rep told him. He just kinda made himself look foolish claiming to have some secret inside source but its understandable he was a little excited.

EDIT: damn we all getting worked up over a potential Madden demo release lol EA must be doing their jobs.

The feature sets have nothing to do with a demo release. Madden has ccm and ncaa has coaching carasoul...what information does that give you about a demo release.

Im just saying the ncaa demo was a "surprise" release why is it so absurd to think madden will go the same damn route?
