Play now shows the OVR based on ratings only. CCM shows the OVR based on ratings and how well it fits in your scheme. That's the difference, it's fairly simple.Comment

Re: depth chart in ccm menus vs in game
I thought it was a mixture of hot/cold streaks, consistency and how good is the player vs the Opposing teams Scheme, Like Dree Bree's vs Tampa 2 .. Brees vs attacking 3-4 as an exampleCatch Madden 15/ NBA 2k15 Footage on my Twitch Channel

Re: depth chart in ccm menus vs in game
My theory is that the overall shown during the game is their normal overall. The one shown in the cc menu depth chart is based on the scheme you set. I changed most of my schemes to balanced and the overalls were close to the same.
I dislike it because players that are rated good in game don't always show up as the best player. I had my LE set to a guy who who in the menu showed as a 77 in game he was a 68. Meanwhile I had benched a guy who in game showed as an 84 but on the CC menu showed as a 71.
The guy I had starting played like a 68 in game. Once I realized the issue I changed them. It was a good change as the 84 can actually get off a block and create pressure.Comment
