      1. Add ability to edit roster in connected careers
      2. Make deep passes more realistic. If your corner's speed is under 90 and the CPU throws a deep pass its almost always a touchdown
      3. Add personal camera when playing superstar mode
      4. In superstar mode when playing as a receiver, add some way to make the qb throw bullet passes. I'm sick of being wide open and the qb throws a lob pass allowing safties and/or corners catching up, or going towards the sideline to make the catch and not being able to reel it in because it's a lob
Other than those 4 things this game is the bees knees

Fix the camera angle glitch. Once changed, it doesn't stay.

Has EA acknowledged if they might be observing this thread? The suggestions for the patch are spot on and I desparately hope everything else is shelved until the issues posted here in this thread are resolved.

Pretty much the majority of the community is waiting to start their "real leagues" until the major update comes out.

Based on past history, I doubt if the September patch is the major update.

            I could be wrong, though.

this HAS to be addressed for the simple fact that it is IN the game currently as a feature in CCM. it just doesnt work. they know it doesnt work. they have known it doesnt work for awhile now, as Looman said on the interview the other night. i fully expect this to be addressed with the upcoming patch.

The more I play Connected Careers, the more I seem to despise it. First there is a CCM ai bug, and now I found out about the jersey number problems. This is why sport games are so unreliable. It seems games like this are not playable until the second patch comes out.

Without the ability to edit players in a season we are going to see some guys shine IRL that are still on the sidelines in this game, where they will stay forever because bench players do not progress. A recent example: Russell Wilson is rated a 70 and is a distant 3rd on the depth chart behind Flynn and Tarvaris freaking Jackson. He will NEVER see the field in Madden 13 on teams controlled by the AI. And what about everybody's late round gem poster boy Tom Brady. As a 6th rounder, Madden would have (rightfully so out of the gate) probably have given him a rating in the 60's. When he replaced Bledsoe and proved himself to be a stud, the ability to edit him would have been necessary to reflect what was actually happening in the real NFL.

Being able to edit players is vitally important IMO. And let's be honest, the ratings, while not awful, are far from perfect and could definitely use a few tweaks here and there.

Brady got his shot due to injury, and the way he has been playing since no one could take him out the number one spot. Pete Carroll just believes in Russell Wilson, so basically what people seem to be asking for is for the games A.I. to react as a human would, put a guy out there based solely on his potential and your own football I.Q. to know that he could get the job done. I don't think that kind of logic exist in any video game, it rarely happens in reality can folks really expect it?

Nope. I saved it once and never had to change it again. There is no auto save, I know its commonplace in pretty much every game even in NCAA not madden though. No auto save. No replay saves either.

It doesn't matter that they're in their first year. In my opinion, this was a very poor effort EA gave this year. I don't blame Jim Nantz and Phil Simms, it's EA sport's fault.
You said it. They change the commentary every three years. Fact of the matter is that the best commentary they have had has been the radio announcer from the 06-08 years. Just my opinion though.

The only thing I like about CCM is how it lets you see your progression towards the HOF. But other that that...

It is so hard to play in CCM as a QB because your teammates are so dumb. The RBs and WRs are constantly missing big holes or failing to run away from defenders so that bug plays can happen. I am playing with the Dolphins (sad, I know) and they signed Nate Garner on the OL and he is the ONLY player who gets called for holding. However, I cannot bench him and the CPU logic to do that probably doesn't even exist.

After you score a TD, it goes right to the simulation screen. There is no way to replay your score. How stupid can you be?

The commentary is still stale - Simms is always blaming the QB when a pass is dropped and I swear I have heard everything he has to say in only 4 games. The guys in MLB the Show sound like they are covering different games and sometimes I swear that are having a real conversation.

The music is sooooo boring. Why don't they let you insert your own music?

As for editing rosters, I for one HATE playing with fake players. What would be the harm in editing the players names and colleges that are drafted to reflect a real NCAA player? How does that change the CCM? Also when you draft as a player, how about being able to make a suggestion or even see the players your team has scouted and may draft?

Oh, one more thing that has bothered me for YEARS...can they extend the stats a little more? It has been the same stats and same 10 or so NFL records. I want completions, attempts, QBR, etc. Is it that hard?

At this point in time I should be expecting sophisticated nuances such as a WR stepping out of bounds to preserve the clock in a 2 minute drill but we still are missing so many basic things. Example - I scored in the playoffs to extend the lead 20-14 with 1:20 left on the clock. SD had all three timeouts. They ran the ball 3 times and didn't call one timeout. I know Norv is a lousy head coach, but even he is not that bad. It took the fun completely out of the game and just doesn't make sense.

CCM is horrible but could be fixed (I guess).

Oh one more thing that was in the game but has been gone for years. EA has to know that these games are played by a lot of middle aged people with lives (I am one of those), right? They used to have a save option during the game. Can they bring that back. Even a save only after every quarter just so you can play a little but still go about your business.

And this last idea may just be for me but what about a automatic save after each quarter so you can't reset or quit. Keeps you honest and makes it a little harder (can't just reset if you throw a TAINT).

                              My 2 cents...

Two things that may be relatively minor but bug are the #2 corner never pressing and catches allowed not being tracked when you play games.

Its kinda funny in a way.Due to my inability to press,my Ravens CB Jimmy Smith gives up at least 4 catches each game. Yet according to the game he has not allowed a catch in over a year

I hope these two things get fixed.
