Yeah, I'm looking at the career settings screen on my unpatched PS3 version right now and I'm not seeing that option. For online or offline CC.

I've just about read thru about 22 PAGES of posts on this update Thread and I still haven't seen any impressions of how this new patch enhances the game or gameplay

Well here goes...

The CPU seems to play much better, more so in the passing game. The running game not as much, but since the collisions seem a little more tuned the CPU RB's don't tend to run into their own lineman and flop immediately as much now. Therefore I guess you can say the running has improved as well.

All the floppy/falling stuff that would make people laugh if they were watching you play seems to have gone away as well. Game seems to play much tighter in that respect. The IE is obviously still at play here, but it goes back to more animations now instead of floppyness (is that a word?) everywhere on the field.

I've only played two complete games so that's all I can say for sure right now.

A couple of posters mentioned this within a few threads, which is why I said that I didn't know if it was true or not.

I'm kind of hoping it is, and that's why no changes are noticeable yet.

I'll look through the threads again and post a link when I find it.

I repeat, nothing officially said by EA, just the word in a few threads on the forum.

From my gameplay experience here are some things of note that I have noticed...

1. Offline CCM AI has in fact improved...From the playcalling on down to the skill...the CPU is actually running the ball halfway decent now without any slider adjustments.

2. Offline free agent logic improved...I booted up a fresh league and only 1 player was on the block...McNabb was not signed by anyone nor were any other players vastly out of place.

3. Infinity Engine improvements...did not see any players hitting the ground like morons nor did their arms or legs look broken and twisted.

This is all I got right now...stay tuned as I play the game and other modes further...I also did not see if the Bears away unis were fixed.

Forgot to mention.....Gamelan is picking a wider variety of offensive plays now also.

People stop acting like brats please. It takes 2 weeks for MS/Sony to certify a patch to be released.

This is not a gameplay update or feedback update. It's stupid junk like GameFace and 'stability' they found last minute. We are going to get gameplay updates I am sure, They have already said they are looking at CCM AI and Zoom cam and Editing.

Its really to sound like EA doesn't even know whats on the patch and its looking pathetic if they did they would post it on billboards saying look what we did.

The things I can tell from just playing one quarter is the interceptions getting toned down and the physics. I hate that the physics got toned down, but I know Madden had to address the fact that players would fall all over the place. The game to me just feels different, and it seems like the CPU can finally run the ball.

It's not totally unrealistic to consider the possibility of gameplay tweaks, considering the late-game AI had seemingly already been "hotpatched" for online CCM (it didn't have to go through certification like a normal patch, and thus happened much quicker). Online CCM has played like a somewhat different game from offline ever since the first few days after release.

I couldn't disagree more! I'm really happy that I bought a game that I cant fully enjoy because they screwed up on modes on the game. I've been walking around my block for the last two weeks now it's gonna be a month. Where looking into it that's all we been hearing blah blah blah stop talking and start doing it.I'm sorry thats hot garbage.
