I feel that the Running game is improved by this, players are stronger and they don´t fell down at the first contact. This maybe has to do with the tone down physics.

Too bad you couldn't have played it in May at the CE. It is night and day from then to now, based on GC and QA feedback.

Can we fix auto subs? Can I edit my. Special teams lineup? Is preseason depth charts still jacked up? Is Donovan Mcnabb still getting signed by the Browns?

Instead of choosing the Bengals as i always do for my testing Offline CCM (Tired of Bengals vs Ravens game, i played that game like 1000 times already) I played the Jets and Greene ran for 167yds with a 7.2 avg. Ivory also ran for 6 att but 25yds.

Total team was 216 rushing yds against me. This was on All pro default with my own house-rules (basically I only control one player, nothing else, i don´t shift, or audible pre snap and i don´t switch Post nap. Sounds boring but if the cpu run against me with this, i´m cool with that. I did play this way before pre patch and even like this the cpu didn´t ran against me at all.

Maybe it was a fluke, it was just 1 game, but it was just right after the patch, and i played like 100 games and i never had the cpu running on me like this at all.

I don´t know, but it was crazy how much better he was running compared to before. Maybe this is why some Online CCM said that their running was ok.

I regret that i played with another team, because i don´t have nothing to compared with. But i never had the cpu running on my like this before.

It was a fluke? the patch did tweak the CPU running a bit?

I also notice that the subs has more impact, at default i even had 1 carry with my 3rd string RB.

Today i´ll try to play a few more games to see if it was just coincidence or not.
I had to wait till 10 pm EST to download the patch 46 MB for PS3 but i cant find the file anywhere it must just merge with the last CCM patch.
On AllMadden i did not notice any new gameplay improvement, the AI is allot tougher with Hits and allot of INts, but i played the Bears Forte had 15 rush for 18 yrds... Cutler passed for 486 4 Td 3 Int.

Why is it that I haven't noticed you or Dewiel reply to any of the many quality discussions that go on in this forum? I am not attacking you or him, I am just trying to understand why you guys interact the way you do. I see many football fundamental discussions spontaneously spark on this board, where really solid questions and suggestions are raised concerning Madden but haven't noticed you guys chime in. I remember when ChaseB started a thread to ask people about commentary, checked in to reply to posts and I even saw some things discussed, in M13. I am not saying we necessarily caused those hings because they likely were already slated but it was nice to be acknowledged.

You guys are on these boards, yet don't really seem like a part of the OS discussions, which I think is unfortunate. I think just getting involved more in these discussions and getting a true understanding of where people are coming from with wanting NFL passion to be in Madden, would go a long way. I keep reading where the devs say they read these boards and think that nice to know. Reading is one thing but truly grasping where we are coming from is another thing entirely and that's what seems to be missing. There seems to be some disconnect or something lost in translation with what we describe on these boards, that devs say the read, with what ends up in the game.

I do a lot of reading past threads and I am encouraged by the level of interaction Ian had back then. However, I also noticed what seemed to be that same disconnect because, imo, the interaction I have read was more him getting feedback on what he wanted to do versus a true back and forth. I would like to see you guys get down in the muck with us because I don't think anybody at Tiburon can "get it" without fully mixing it up. Being an observer from a far is better than nothing but truly being apart of the living dialog that takes place on here makes for better understanding. Some threads start out slow but like some great movies, get really deep as they progress and it would be nice to see you guys being a part of those.

Have you tried All pro? maybe all madden is still broken but all pro tweaks are in.

Re: Madden NFL 13 Title Update #2 Available Now (Updated to Include Full Details)

Is there anyone that could be so kind as to either email me the Title Update 2 for xbox 360 or upload it and post a link. I would get back on xbox live if I could but xbox live and satellite internet do not mix and there is noway I'm paying for xbox live just to have access to game features that should be working before the release date.

On a different note. I've been playing madden since '92. Things have come a long way since then and even since the famously ****ty Madden 06 and 07. Is this years game perfect? Hell No. Is the gameplay great? Hell yes it is. Sure there are some features that were added or subtracted that leave a bitter taste in my mouth but the game feels right. Especially if tuned the right way.

                Thanks

I'm guessing that is the way EA has told them to handle the forums. I think their role is more towards damage control then it is at getting idea's from the sim community on of how to better their game. Maybe I am wrong, if so I do apologize.

I'm sure it is hard for EA to listen to a community with all the different types of players and comments, but the majority here seam to want the same things. The link in my signature shows most of them, and isn't a bad place for EA to glance at to see what OS would like fixed first. By next year, the votes should be a good indication of things.

I guess that's a good thing...R they going to tune the arm reflexes? Lots of snuggling, ball carriers not protecting the ball when they're tackled, loaf of bread ball carrying, etc...

I feel like the "arcade" players and casual gamers will buy Madden no matter what. I mean put up a good commercial and state its the best madden yet and they are sold. The only people that are not going to buy it are us "sim" gamers. We are the ones who care about the content of the game and realism. Cater to us in terms of gameplay and cater to the casual gamers in terms of marketing and you got us both.

Oh they will, just you wait! This year was definitely a step in the right direction, the game plays fantastic!. It has it's issues but what sports game doesn't? Even the "Almighty NBA2K" has problems that ALWAYS has to be patched every year. Madden 14 will be even better with editing and half of the problems with this game won't be there. Madden 15 is gonna be what we've all been waiting for. Gameplay, Features, Presentation, you name it and its gonna have it. In 2 YEARS, Madden domination. Mark my words. 2 MORE YEARS BABY.
