So simulated games still have 80-90 plays per team?

Fixed an issue where the Accelerated Clock did not function in an online CCM game when the option was set to On.

I am curious about this. Accelerated clock functions in CCM, but only when I have the ball (playing as QB). It doesn't work for the computer....so time of possession in a 60 minute game usually ends up with my team having the ball for 56 minutes, and the CPU has is for 4.

Is this what has been fixed?

What you're referring to is the supersim - acc. clock didn't work for user vs. user games (I read). That's what they're fixing!

Added over a dozen logic fixes to make our commentary more intelligent.


Does this mean I will no longer have to hear Jim Nantz say "the Quarterback takes the field for the first time" even though it is my 3rd and sometimes 4th offensive series. Or even better every offensive series having to hear "the QB has been sacked X times".

So you'll just pick the plays, but you won't control anyone.

Does this mean that user QBs have the ability to scramble in Coach Mode? Is there an option to take control of the QB in Coach Mode, same as before? And I don't do the kicks or punts? I am trying to discern if this is a truly new type of Coach Mode or same as the old one.

Surly this was looked at, why even have a player mode at all if the supersim doesn't work properly. If they fixed it for user v user games then they would of fixed it for player mode, wouldn't they. Supersim worked in 12 why not 13???

Will this update current CCMs?? Or will it just be for CCMs started after the update?

Also, how do I turn off these pink accessories??!!! I like the idea but it would be cool if it only showed up for a couple games in October. And I'm not a Breast Cancer Awareness h a t e r. I wear the pin all year at my job.

So, if we continue with an online ccm with our current sliders that are working, on the 16th ifnwe still had those sliders the game would play different and we could adjust them to our play now preference and have it work?

This is some excellent news. Looks like I can pick up a copy later in the year, maybe christmas.....if NBA 2K13 isn't taking up my time, which maaaaaay not happen.

Still, this is outatanding news. I hope next year (14) our custom coaches can have custom playbooks brought into the mode as well as the rosters. Very nice.

Two questions -

1) With the added ability to edit players in off-line CCM, what exactly does this include? Attributes, Positions, Equipment, Jersey Numbers, Personal Info? Is there anything that cant be edited?

2) When using a custom roster in CCM, do the player's overall ratings still increase/decrease or will they stay the same as in Play Now?
