Well despite the skinny arm issue popping up in some of the QB and FB screens, it doesn't have the permanent effect that it does on the O/D-linemen.

I'll check on the sleeve issue when I sim through my first season.

so i can edit all players except QB, FB, OL, DL?

once i edited 1 of lets say my DL, does only he get a stick figure or also other unedited players?

So I was in the editing screen fixing some players. I wanted to just play with RG3's arms etc. His arms looked very very skinny. I took his arms from a 0 to 6. Looked okay. I then made the Muscle Definition like a 5. looked great on the Edit Player screen.

When I entered the game, I didn't realize i just signed Dwight Howard to play QB for my team. I had to go back into the Edit player screen a couple times, until i felt it looked the best.

I am not having the issue where glove changes make my linemen look like 12th graders.

Im not sure if that helps at all, but I have noticed that between the Edit Player screen and game, they really dont match.

I havent had any problems with any equipment either.

I'm wondering if u fix the arms after they "go skinny" then save..then go into the game will they be ok..but once u enter the edit screen they go skinny again..so u would have to fix each time u enter the edit screen..if that sounds right

My situation is that I'm in 32 user online CCM and I edited 2 OL and 2 DL before the news about the bug and how to avoid came out. I play on zoomed view so I can absoultely see those players I edited on every snap, and they look horrible now. So that's why I wondering if I left the league and came back would that make a difference. Or are the changes saved on a localized server somewhere and can't be changed?

Another question is, what happens if I trade or release those players in the years to come? Are they stuck with tyra banks arms for the rest of their careers!
You're welcome, and yes, even released it looks like they retain the error.

As seems to be the case. LBs are fine, along with RBs, TEs, WRs, SSs and FS.

I'm not entirely sure there is a problem with the QBs, but I have been staring at edit screens for hours now. lol

I do see what you mean by in the edit screen and on the field differences. I think it may just be an optical illusion given that the field gives more context to the player and just staring at him on a black background changes how we see them. I'd have to do some checking to be sure.

Just the player you edit. And at this point, I think QB's and FB's are safe to edit

They do get the skinny arms if you go into the edit screen, but the changes you make take hold and there is no effect on the rest of the body like the D-linemen. Seems to be the case with fullbacks as well, so just stay away from OL and DL.

I went to edit Olinemen, soon as I hit edit player his arms were tiny and had no belly, but you just edit them back up to 10 and make them big again and then save. They all look normal during gameplay... Its a glitch but so far it seems it can be adjusted.

I must not be seeing what most of you are in games. I went in and edited 4 OL. Two of them I just changed helmets and #'s (saved it with their skinny arms), adjusted one back to normal body size, then the last one I jacked up to all 10's for size.

Once in game, 3 of the OL looked normal while the 1 I cranked up looked... cranked up.

On a side not, you can now make any player robocop (no facemask with a dark visor).

I agree, once you edit an OL/DL they looked cranked up forever. There is no re-editing you can do to change them back. So in my 32 user online CCM I currently have 4 of my best players LT, RG, DT,RE with freakish looking bodies.

It might sound crazy but I'm considering benching them. Looking at their bodies kind of ruins my visual enjoyement of the game.

Please EA re-patch this! I feel so hurt right now

I changed H. Ngata's number from 92 to 93, played the first preseason game, zoomed in on him, and his arms were the correct size.

He is a d-lineman, so unless I did something wrong, he should have had small arms right?

Not so, at least not for everyone. After seeing several of my players shrink from editing equipment (OL and DL mainly), I went back and edited their body proportions up to the 8-10 range. When I started my pre-season game back up, those players were still small.

It appears that they cannot be altered to fit normal size again.

What I'm interested in is knowing which positions you can edit without risking this and which you can't.

So far I know OL and DL are affected.

I've edited HB with no adverse effects, and LB as well, I think.

The crappy part is that the lone piece of equipment I really hate is the rubber arm pad, which is worn by lineman.

At this point, you kind of have to laugh to keep from crying. This is a pretty disappointing result.
