I edited 2 Olinemen and they are now bean poles. I've edited multiple DBs,LBs, and a RB, and fixed Luck's terrible sleeves. No problems with anyone other than the Oline and Dline.

Re: Editing in CCM = distorted appearances?
Why did they even give us the ability to edit sizes, outside of our CCM player? You can't do this in the original edit roster screen can you? Doesn't make sense that they added it. That is probably the root of this problem.
I don't have the game, I've just RedBox'd it a few times, so that's why I'm unsure of the game specifics.Comment

Re: Editing in CCM = distorted appearances?
I've edited Davin Joseph, Otah, Nicks, and my rookie 1st round DT. And I have none of your problems. Everyone says OL and DL, and if YOU read someone at the beginning of this thread (yeah i read it) said WR too. So that's why I said wideout.
You sure are some sensitive chums. Enjoy your broken saves!
Or you can delete them and follow the orders that I have given and enjoy the game.
Or are you doing it for the Play Now roster?
Your answers will be illuminating.Comment

Re: Editing in CCM = distorted appearances?
Havokeff,
Hey, just want to say thanks for going through this so throughly. Hopefully EA addresses this issue in the future, but in the meantime figuring out what exactly we can do to avoid the issue is helpful.
Is there a post here where you've summarized your findings to this point? I just want to make sure I've got everything correct in my head as to what I need to do to avoid the issue should I choose to edit a player.
Thanks!Comment

If I were to summarize...
In CCM, Coach or Player versions:
-DO NOT EDIT Offensive or Defensive Linemen.
-If you edit Quarterbacks, make sure you set their physical sliders to where you want them before you "Accept & Continue", because they do glitch and set the Arm Size slider to 0 or 10 once you enter the edit screen.
This change however is not permanent, unlike the O/D-Linemen, so you can go back later and do it, but it is easier to do it while you are in there.
-All other positions and players to this point are safe to edit, but like the Quarterbacks, some setting will change, if to a lesser degree, once you enter the edit screen on some players. I.e., shoulder pads may drop from a bigger to a smaller size as you toggle to the equipment screen.Comment

Re: Editing in CCM = distorted appearances?
A workaround: edit your OL and DL and pretend that there's been a widespread epidemic of hyperthyroidism among lineman due to some specific aspect of their diet. Problem solved.
EA will patch hyperthyroidism when doctors figure out how to fix it, or 90 days thereafter.Comment

Re: Editing in CCM = distorted appearances?
So just to double check. Were ok editing K,P,WR,LB,CB, and S.
Not ok OL,DL,QB,HB,FB.
I really hope they patch this to fix it.
But nobody has encountered any issues with the K,P,WR,LB,CB, and S?
Just wanted to double check cause my buddy and I had to restart our online ccm because of this and I dont want these issues to happen again.Comment

Now that's creative and funny. But I want my hypo- lineman back.Comment

Re: Editing in CCM = distorted appearances?
I was piss drunk when I wrote that. Vodka and cranberry juice for the win.
To the other question, I edited my HB w/o problems, and I edited an OLB too.
I'm not sure if those are guaranteed screwup positions or not.Comment

Re: Editing in CCM = distorted appearances?
I haven't had any problems editing HBs/WRs/QBs. QBs will revert to default equipment and skinny arms any time you edit them but if you fix them and save they will be normal when you play the game.Don't look back too long and don't look too far ahead.Comment
