Re: Madden NFL 25 Lets You Move to 17 different Cities, Revive Historic Teams
I think I disagree but it could be due to the gif being sped up, it seems the DEs momentum allows them to continue towards the QB when engaged by the Tackle versus in M13 where they would have stopped/been stonewalled be contacting the Tackle, before trying to continue to the QB. Again, it could be because the gif is sped up making it seem as if the DE's progress isn't stopped but it looks like they continue through the block.
Here is a Youtube video from Sgibs, watch the DE in M12 compared to that M25 DE.

At this point to me, looking at this picture, the DE has got the LT beat, dead in the water... In the NFL, any kind of block from the LT at this point would be a block in the back since there's no way he's going to be able to get his arms out in front of the DE. Looking at this picture over and over, the only way realistically the QB can avoid that sack is by stepping up into the pocket and then left away from the pressure. Instead, he scoots over right, and then the LT engages in a block from the side. That's where I thought the block in the back might have been called.Comment

"The 17 cities include Brooklyn, London, Dublin, Toronto, Mexico City, Los Angeles, Austin, Columbus, Orlando, Portland, Oklahoma City and Memphis."

Germany also supported NFLE very well. I can see the NFL there before Mexico.

Oh no no, I wasn't saying that the DE was stopped completely, I just thought that the angle he (DE) took, his speed, and where he is, it felt like he was sucked into that block animation. I looked at this picture....

Block in the back? I dunno.
I would certainly expect the LT to hold him, that seems the most likely response to how he's been beat. He should be taking a 10 yard penalty to prevent his QB from getting rocked.
You don't see "blocking in the back" all that often in pass protection, that's more or less a special teams penalty.

Re: Move to 17 Different Cities, Revive Historic Teams and More in Madden NFL 25
I thought the other user posted the whole list.
They're still selling this short though IMO. If you give a user power to move their team, they should be able to move to Wyoming or Maine if they so choose. Or Paris ect..
The possibilities shouldn't be limited. They should be endless.Comment

I'm glad they went this route, I don't want to be in an owner league where someone moves the Packers to India.
Considering they decided to do 3 custom designed teams (logos, jerseys, etc) and each of these sites has actual commentary about it, they would be limited in how many could be done.
Designing all the teams...you only have so many ideas. You also have only so much time with Nantz/Simms to create the commentary, and disc space for it all.
We know disc space is an issue for Madden as it is, so this shouldn't be a surprise.

They chose to pick realistic cities where teams could land, nothing wrong with that.

Having more disc space (since Xberx Juan will now use blu ray) things will be alot better with how much content can get put on the disc.

Re: Move to 17 Different Cities, Revive Historic Teams and More in Madden NFL 25
My problem with the cities is that you can't realign the divisions afterwards so if I move Jacksonville to LA then LA will play in the AFC South instead of the AFC West and moving KC over to the South or make other moves...Comment
