Never said it was right, it's just the way it is. It's the same reason why we'll probably never see suspensions for hits, steroids, possibly holdouts, etc.

It's the perfect example as to why monopolies aren't good for consumers.

It's disgusting and wrong on so many levels.

Once upon a time, the commentary was absolute crap with created teams.

That's the thing. I'd rather have a list of 15-20 reasonable cities with 2-4 options of new teams per city that are actually thought through and integrated in the game instead of typing in whatever game I like, having to create a uni from scratch which most likely will look pretty bad and have the commentary guys only talk about the "Home/Away Team" from then on.

As I said, the only options I'd love to have are Las Vegas (what a great city to build some glamour team full of divas) or Alaska just for fun (and tons of snow...), other than that, I really love this new approach, if they integrate the new teams well into the presentation (not exactly holding my breath...) that would be a HUGE step forward.

I wonder what the possible names for Portland is. I'm just hoping one has to do with the timber industry such as lumberjacks, loggers, chainsaws, etc.

There is a larger metro population in Providence than Jacksonville, Buffalo and New Orleans.

There is a larger metro population in Providence than Jacksonville, Buffalo and New Orleans.

And unlike Buffalo, there are actually people with money in Providence. It would be a nice city to add just to revive a defunct franchise.

Bring back the Steam Rollers! Also, New England should go back to being Boston.

Hopefully they expand the cities and names next year. I wouldn't mind simple recycling of the current names.

As far as Vegas - the NFL would never allow it. The whole gambling issue...

Which is why they never play in London where they don't wager on sports, ever.

Everybody knows that the coolest Houston Oiler Uniform was the early 70's silver helmet with Houston Blue Jerseys.
If I understood , you can create a uniform and transfer the logo to the new created team.
Now, getting to my post;
Let's say I want the Lions to play outdoors in the snow.. So I move the Lions temporaily to Chicago while my new Detroit Stadium is being built?... Please suspend reality for a sec.
So then, does Detroit become one of the cities on the list?
So I could theorhetically move the Lions BACK to Detroit in a new open air stadium??
And then the Colts? Rams? Vikings? all using a temporary Chicago stadium as a layover.
Especially if I could create something like a Wrigley Field for that purpose.

Actually, it's the perfect example of Leagues protecting their image. Out of the many things EA has done wrong in the past, this is one thing they really can't control monopoly or not.
