    Re: Player Development Trait working Backwards for me

    So, I just wanted to post this here.

    I wanted to see what happened when upgrading my backup HB from Normal to Quick.

    Here it is

    Normal
    Weekly Goals: 2 rushing TD - 726xp, 5 YPC - 241xp, 90 yards - 483xp

    Awareness 68->69 - 381xp
    Speed 93->94 39,060xp

    Quick
    Weekly Goals: 2 rushing TD - 762xp, 252xp, 507xp

    Awareness 68->69 - 361xp
    Speed 93->94 37,107xp

    It didn't affect milestone goals. So yes, it's ~5% upgrade from Normal to Quick, and I'm guessing another 5% to Superstar. Worth it for young players that you plan to keep for a long time, that hit their weekly goals often. If you have a really good young player that doesn't consistently hit goals, then meh.

        look at the scheme, think players get more xp if they are playing in the right scheme.

          26 yr old LeGarrette Blount has Normal Development and gets 1,155 XP for 150 Rushing Yards

          24 yr old Jimmy Graham with Superstar Development gets 134 XP for 10 Catches
          26 yr old Ed Dickson with Normal Development gets 808 XP for 10 Catches

          Can any1 else confirm this or know if this has been addressed??
          Jimmy Graham as a superstar player is expected to have 10 catches in a game. He shouldn't get a lot of xp for it. Dickson is not a superstar so for him to get 10 catches in a game is a surprise and will get a big boost of xp.

          Get it now. It is about expectations of the player.

          If Jimmy graham gets 20 catches and 5 tds in a game his xp will be large.

            Need to test two players with identical ratings and different development traits. Josh Looman has said that as OVR increases, XP will decrease, which explains what you are seeing here. You are testing true superstars with backups.
