A lot of the issues can be fixed if they want to make an effort to take note of these and come out with a patch. The patch will surely come sooner or later. If it takes them halfway through the season though I won't even consider it at that point.I can also see them patching a few things and leaving out a few the obvious ones, the ones most people would find most important and expect.
Why would you buy the game if you havent already?

Its ok but 12 is much better I have ps3 and m12 makes M25 look like ps2 the graphics are much better its a good game but CF too restricted. The only defense the cpu know is to grab ints.I would say it's nice to meet you but it's not so I don't pretend it is when I greet you.
Madden 25 NBA2k13 downhill from thereComment

I somehow don't believe he blocked 4 of your twitter accounts for no good reason. Save the "what did I do?" act for IGN, or some other site filled with dimwits, it doesn't work here.
As to whether to buy it or not, it's a personal choice. For me, this year I am having fun with the game, that's all the really matters to me. I've already gotten my 60 bucks worth of enjoyment out of it. For others may not be.. I'd say redbox or rent it. If you haven't liked Madden in the past the game probably isn't for you.
THANKS FOR LETTING US KNOW!!!Comment

Re: Why would you buy the game if you havent already?
Lol you guys act like this is a big threat to them. If you really want to protest EA don't buy their games, the fact that you already bought a copy is money in their pocket and they don't lose any when you 'bring it back' for a store trade in.
Over half a million people will always reserve and buy this game every year, your threats of patch or return actually mean nothing to EA. Instead of unrealistically expecting a perfect football game, lower it a little and you'll might actually have some fun.
There are problems with Madden that may never be fixed, but to an honest person can you say EA never really tried to fix them? Because you never hear about failed attempts means they never tried? I'm not trying to claim them to be perfect, or that I'm completely satisfied with every expect of the game, but at the end of the day it's still a video game, that has more features and tweaks than the previous game.
Half of my team wears white sleeves in sunny San Diego with 80 degree temps... does that bother me? Hell no because not everything in a video game can be perfect.Comment

Re: Why would you buy the game if you havent already?
I am no EA apologist by any stretch, but this Madden holds the most promise of any I can remember in a long, long while.
If EA can nail the the issues that need patching (and really, there aren't too many big ones) without botching up something else that's already working, this could easily be the best Madden on this generation's consoles.
I am trying to be optimistic, but it's EA, so I am not banking on it.Comment

Re: Why would you buy the game if you havent already?
My thoughts exactly, this is the best FB title I've played in years and I don't have half the issues I see one the boards. If EA can patch up a few spots or at least improve them for next gen this game will be phenomenal. I just fear they will screw up other things lol. The game is already easily thrown out of whack and can feel twitchy and arcadey with certain slider combinations. But when you find the right settings its an amazing game.
As far as the op, why buy it? Because opinions are like air holes (on whales) they all have one. I've noticed a lot guys that loved the game in the impression thread popped in and said so. While others that don't like it or have issues put more effort into voicing it.
Every year nba2K has some guys claiming its broke it sucks they aren't playing it or buying it again etc, etc.....while others are playing what they consider the penacle of sports gaming. If I had based my decision to buy madden on the negative posts, I would not be enjoying some the best FB matches I ever played right now!Last edited by TeeDogg; 09-14-2013, 10:19 PM.Comment

Re: Why would you buy the game if you havent already?
I wouldn't, even though I planned on buying both NCAA 14 and Madden 25. But NCAA 14 is just a mess of a game, and after reading about Madden 25's issues and seeing gameplay vids, it's basically a pro version of NCAA 14, sharing that game's problems combined with their own issues with connected careers and the occasional invisible players glitch.
I shouldn't be shocked to see a penalty called in a game, these games are getting worse.Comment

Because the issues that I have with the game have gone long unaddressed since I've been playing Madden. They haven't even been so much as acknowledged. Why? Because in EA's eyes, my problems with the game aren't problems. In fact, my problems with the game are the very foundation that the game is built upon.
You say "lower your standards", but there was a time when we didn't HAVE to lower our standards. Because there was competition. And another title out there that met our "unrealistic expectations".......Comment
