i dont get why more people don't just wait and get a pre-owned copy from gamestop.

yea, it costs almost the same amount, but you can try it for a week and return it for a full refund if its another fail.

if not, you can keep it. the only problem is you would have to buy an online pass if you want the online features, so EA could still end up getting some money from you

Actually, that's a good idea, Save yourself even more money by just renting it for a week. My opinion of the game is it sucks, But that is because it doesn't' offer the features I am looking for. It seems to me that the game should be put in category's.

If you are a ARCADE style player and realism , stats, fundamental FB don't matter to you. It seems those are the people whom like this game.

If you are a Thumb jockey, and just want to play a FB game for fun, this might be the game for you.

If you are a ONLINE player and just want to have fun playing other people, you might like it. If you are a ONLINE league player, Franchise, Depending on the leagues, do some research first, there are ONLINE issues. Maybe a patch will fix it. Some like it, some don't

If you are a serious OFFLINE FRANCHISE - OWNER type player, Thumb jockey or COACH mode that loves stats, realism, fundamental FB. Or if you love to coach and watch your team preform against CPU vs CPU. THIS GAME IS NOT FOR YOU.. Especially if you want CPU vs CPU, that option is not offered. Owner mode is also limited, If you are a player that want's total control of your team and all the options, then I suggest you get a copy of Madden 12, the right slider set, the newest Rosters and enjoy, enjoy, enjoy.

The reality of it is simple. Depending on what your needs are, your style of play, will determine if you like Madden 25. Personally my opinion, for me, Madden 12 offers everything that I need to enjoy the game. I am not an ONLINE player so I don't know if you can even play M12 online any more. But M25 offers me nothing I enjoy.

M25 is filled with bugs, way to many for me. I honestly believe for the serious fundamental player it is the most bug ridden Madden ever. Again, maybe a patch will fix it, But with the new PS4 coming, I don't think we will see one, and if we do, it won't correct the major issues, it will be for more ONLINE issues. Again, It is all in the eye of the beholder. Likes and dislikes.
